This was a great match, in my opinion probably the best match of 98. I thought in terms of importance, it was right there with Austin vs. HBK for Austin's first world title win and subsequent reign on the WWF. Warrior's character was never one the could have lasted. Unlike his counterpart Sting, Warrior was never a good story-teller in the ring. His matches (even his epics with Hogan and Savage) were always about fury and power. Vince was smart to capitalize on Warrior's popularity when it was at it's peak in 1990.
