When you were landing how did you do that thing with the engines to slow it down even faster?

it is called reverse thrust. You must have a throtle joystick, a mouse with a scroll wheel or you can just do it from the panel.

I resently had a hard time lading the American Airlines MD-83 in to LaGuardia it's crazy....I had to go around...
