Sledge's shotgun + soldier with overload and a class mod with + magazine size = awesome.

Another use: the level 69 version is actually good for combat.

@scusemua123 uh, i'm not entirely sure. If you completed the quest where you blow up the Headstone Mine i doubt you would be able to fight him. Otherwise, possibly. Because you can play other bosses in the same playthrough.

@stiffpoo You can go back to any boss and kill them again for their weapons. Sledge, Krom, Bone Head, Reaver (I think), Nine-Toes (HAH!), and Baron Flynt (although I'm not sure about him, either.)

But sadly, for all the fans of Typhon and Kyros (the two Crimson Lance officers Athena wants you to kill in The Secret Armory of General Knoxx), they don't respawn so you only get one Typhoon and Kyros' Power per playthrough. Word of advice, keep the latter.

@scusemua123 Yeah you can, but i think its like after your turned off the game and gone back to it later on.

each time you pick up his gun, its stats are different, just like every other boss gun.

@stiffpoo its still being used as a weapon and you're shooting someone with it. also, different uses mean more than one, that's why it's plural.

@Itsyourmom123 I think someone would usually associate a weapon being something that would inflict damage, not a device used in aiding a person to go places. And the different uses are that is can be used as a weapon or a helpful tool.

is it possible to use the shotgun to launch yourself in the air, similar to that of a rocket jump?

@rgmztxy It only happens with that certain shptgun and it pushes the other guy rather than hurting him because he is such a higher level than myself

@stiffpoo I think you misread my question. You know how when you rocket jump, you point the rocket launcher at the ground, while jumping, and launch it, thus allowing you to jump higher? Could you get that same result with sledge's shotgun? I'm not talking about another player, i'm talking about the person wielding the gun.

Well planned out. This shotguns great for many things. Sending enemies off the edges of the map or sending your friends flying towards the next objective, it's great.
