I didn't know there has been made a movie about the finnish national epic in the USA. But if this is made in USA then why do they speak german?

Why is Godzilla speaking in English in the USA when he's from Japan? Movies get dubbed for other markets that's why.

My mann, this actually is Finnish/Soviet Union production. As far as I know it has nothing to do with USA, except for the publishing of it as a shorter version.

Interesting to note that the Japanese release of SAMPO was written, directed and edited by Ishiro Honda, who directed GODZILLA (1954).
