  • @kyoshimarcus

I have no idea, I've been looking for YEARS, myself!

  • To Silverlament:

As mentioned above (after the title), "morin khuur" (say: "maw'reen hoor") is the national instrument of Mongolia; a kind of cello having 2 strings only (the big one, here on stage, being like a bass, so "ikh huur"), both made of head-hair of horse (not of "horse head", ha ha!...); the 2 smaller ones that we see on stage are like sharper-sounding (trebled?) ones, so like rustic violins, named there "tovs huur" (as said correctly by HanHentii). OK? 9 minutos atrás

  • Splendid!!! Nice to see a real group, diversified, playing and singing fantastically traditional music from Mongolia. I just regret that the overtone singer(s = 2?) were not highlighted, for us to watch his/their fabulous techniques. Anyway, my sincere compliments and many, many thanks for this chance. Great post!!!
