ah ha still talking shyt bawt the NATIVE's aye, its all good we deal with people like you everyday, it aint new, nd any other WHITE MAN that shows up on our land nd disrespects our people, is going to have to deal with the whole tribe, nd remember that this was our land first, everyone else was jus money hungry, at least we knew what mattered most to the white settlers.... SO HA! we laugh at ppl like u every day...
honorary don't mean nada, just cowboys and indians. If he lived here, it sure was away from the rest of us. So here's an honorary feather to stick in your hat. Marty just tried to use NDNs and your right, who would buy a record made by Indians? Indian people would. You'll just never know but you can reply with some insane answer and you'll never be right, mr. T w. Brook
even if an NDN sang it, it would have been buried like the dead at wounded knee. words and actions are the only response but action is needed and not another whiteman singing about our bad and hard times. johnny cash was good but his songs died also. still shold've let an NDN sing and marty back him but NO> Marty isn't what he seems, least way to me. I'm from wounded knee
@hummermoon I think you're misunderstanding Marty's way of thinking. I don't think he was jumping on the Native American bandwagon and trying to make money out of their suffering, I think he just realises that there's been a lot of ill-treatment, and the only way he can express the way he feels is through song. Also, there is a track on this album called "Everette Helper's Song", where Marty and the Superlatives do not feature, but Everette Helper is singing in his own language
