I liked this video. However she should've edited the cat on the counter and the dog out out the segment. Yuck! Kinda' grosses me out. I will try this receipe .
Ma, learn how to say our words correct , it is very bad! madoooo ewwwww!!!! guarda il gatto sul tavolo! D: ewww ke schifoooooo!!!! nn mi piace. Falso cibo italiano!!!!!! Americanan......
She also needs to get her hair out of face and stop slinging it around. For pete's sake, tie it back. Isn't the cat hair enough, she's gotta add her hair too. Yuk.
I can't believe she aired this after the cat jumped on the butcher block AND the kitchen counter. I agree with sabs9962. I dont care how good she may cook, I would not eat anything that came from her kitchen. I myself, don't like animal hair in my food. She talks about the spinach being pre-washed, covering the ricotta so it "stays clean" but lets the cat on the counter and butcher block. I love cats, but that would be one dead cat!!
I stopped watching after I saw that cat jumping around from kitchen table to counter top.... I would definitely NOT eat anything that comes out of your kitchen....PORCA DI PUTTANA.....
Great, I love the potato gnocchi. But, I will try this. I like the way that the hair is flying around, the cat comes, the dog comes. This is the way home cooking should be.
Yum! I can't wait to try this recipe. Loved the appearance of your 4-legged babies. I knew some people would say something about your kitty walking on your work surface... if they only knew what goes on in their favorite restaurants.. the kitty wouldn't bother them at all! ha ha
Looks delicious! I am definitely going to try this. This is the first gnocchi video I've seen that's not made with potatoes and it looks very appetizing! Good Job!
you are a good italian cook and i love most of your recipes. but when i cook i tie my hair, i have thick and curly hair too.i keep animals out of kitchen.
Love your video's! Just a little video tip if i may...Record your video to a secondary hard drive; that way you will avoid the choppiness in the video. it looks like you are using Microsoft Movie maker? I started off using that but am now using Final Cut pro. Also Adobe Elements is a Very good video app. for what you are doing. Again love your very helpful videos!
My mother who was an gormet cook passed away almost three years ago. I have taken up cooking with a passion. I had lost her recipe for spinach gnocchi and was so happy to find this because it was the exact recipe. Jacque Pepin? I served this as the first plate last night for New Years and my father was so happy. It brought nice memories to the table. Delicious. Everyone loved it. I placed the ricotta cheese and the spinach in a cooking towel as well to get it even drier. Thank you so much!
Maria, this was captivating, very expertly edited into the various stages too. Please advise, how do you eat this sort of fabulous hi-carb food and still retain your wonderful figure? It's about portion size, right?
Portion size - yes!!! also, regular exercise, which I hate. I run 3 times a week 3-5 miles a shot, boring, no fun but very efficient at calorie burning
From London - yummy, authentic! Having visited Rome from London probably 7 or 8 times a year for the last 20 years, this recipe is very close to the real thing. I've visited America a few times, I find a lot of the American Italian dishes a lot different from Italy. A lot of Italians eat pasta without or with little sauce whilst in London or New York its pasta with lots of sauce! I love this lady, a great cook and a great mentor for Italian food outside Italy - thank you.
Excellent recipe and video. And I actually loved the guest appearence by your cat! I cracked up. Let the cat go where he wants and keep up the good work!
is super clean and doesn't bother me. That said, if you don't like it - don't do it. Follow the recipes and skip the cat - easy - and let each of us live
right on! I'm so sick of all the ridiculous comments when all you're doing is sharing your wonderful diverse recipes on YT. I just don't get why some of these people have to pick apart every fricken little thing-spelling, "It's not authentic Italian", pronunciation, no animals allowed in the kitchen, etc... It's bullshit and these people need to get a life and let you do what you do so well OR post their own videos and leave you the hell alone!! You're a great cook with a vast array of recipes!
Grossed out by a cook that lets an animal that walks in a crap box, walk on her counter tops were she cooks. yuck.

you spelt gnocchi wrong :/
hankyhead88 2 years ago
she's using the italian pronunciations.

In italy, its pronounced, nyo-kee.
The crappy way most of us in america say it is wrong, because its an italian word, not an english word.
