  • @vaultofknowledge actually it was worse than socket 5 i knew i couldnt put a pentium mmx in that hunk of shit

  • @vaultofknowledge why windows 2000 what about "Micro XP 0.84 from Experience"

  • he folds on those

  • "You are all my wives. Every single one of you!"

  • What is it daddy?

  • you know what, computers were more interesting back then..

  • 486DX2!! i had one

  • I am sure PC's back then couldn't boot in less than 10 seconds (0:20 to 0:27)

  • 0:58 badass porn machines

  • lol i had a Gateway in the early 90's

  • My science teacher when I was in year 8 had a computer like that desktop that was a pentium MMX 266MHz with Windows NT 4.0 on it.

  • Oh man.... this is extra cringe....

  • I still have the mouse for this it still works :D

  • I never owned the Gateway 2000, but I was at a thrift store and I saw the Windows 3.11 Installer for the Gatewayy 2000. It was a pain to setup. Drivers never worked in VirtualPC.

  • @osreporter duhh it was designed for the pc it came with not some virtual box bullshit

  • Daddy....what is this on your computer???

    Oh nothing sweetheart...it's a...um...(cue chainsaw)

  • Walking into a room full of old gateways, sitting there, trying to be all sexy and shit... and stripper/porn music cues at the same time

  • Wow! He boasts about the CD-ROM drive like it's a big thing. I remember when you had to listen to an audio CD if you wanted to listen to music and prayed to god that the crappy sound card that came in the Gateway 2000 even worked. BTW was it just me, or were the Gateway Cows creepy as hell?

  • @SickSadWorldOnline Back then the CD-ROM drives would send the audio straight to the sound card through a separate connection.

  • 4 People never invested in their future.

  • They never actually explain what he's going to use.

  • lol my phone is 4 times faster. lmao oh technology

  • Gateway... Fix you're advertising.

  • "I call this my porn room."

  • That was my fuckin dream system when I was a kid, That huge desktop machine! And that crystal scan 1080 monitor was clear as hell back then. Needless I never got it and was stuck with a tandy 1000tx, And my next upgrade was a packard hell.

  • Is that Casey Kasem?

  • "daddy what is this??" umm i dont know....maybe a computer........?? lol

  • oh daddy how can i ever repay you wink wink

  • uuuuuuuuugh.

    i saw a 486 DX2 66 MHZ

i had a packard bell with that same proc. i think it had 32 MB Ram. Piece of junk would barely run Windows 3.1

  • yeah till she got pregnant and ran off with a black guy!!

  • "Be able to grow as you grow"

Yeah, she was pissed when it was obsolete in about 2 years

  • holy hell take a look at those bricks. i barely remember using those. >.<

  • why are her clothes, jewellery and hair like that of a middle aged woman ?

  • And the 1995 Infomercial Academy award for stilted acting goes to...

  • lol i have a gateway 2000 386 :D!!!also has 4mbs of ram lol

  • Now that's high-tech. Check out those sleek monitors.

  • creepy.

  • Take away the computers from the commercial and it would have a totally different, and gross take.

  • all of des computers; are for child porn

  • i found a at&t laptop from 94 the other day and i laughed thinking i was probably the first person to type lol on the computer

  • 1:02 The processing power of all those computers combined would be the equivalent of an iMac G3.

  • @TheBill35

Whats funny I think a G3 iMac DV or R10000 SGI Indigo 2 actually would be faster then all of those 486s.

  • That's was so cheesy you could spread it on a cracker!

  • Ummm, is it me but... that dad is creepy

  • Never cared for the 2000 line but love the video. Such a fan of vintage computing.

  • oh wow, memories...

  • I hope this guy talks exactly like this during sex.

  • badass computer closet

  • 1 word for the time being 2010 CRAP!

  • @swaaye I disagree. I have a Gateway Computer (currently)

and it has AMD Athlon processor

  • Dicky LOL

  • luckily their closet is full of gateways, so daddy can have his pick of what to use

  • This video makes me so happy

  • Can someone tell me exactly what is he going to use?

  • @ricochetrabbit86 One of those computers in the secret server room that he probably hosts a porn site on.

  • @spunker88 LMAO!

  • "this is an investment in your future..."

    annnnnnd cue her stripper music

  • i use to have one of those badboys

  • DICKY!

  • the acting i ever seen.better than today's acting

  • Just like real life huh? Growing up in that family would give you anxiety problems.

  • @poobert "Dicky take a look at this!"

  • lol dat was mini back then

  • Cheezy indeed.

  • BEST.

    ACTING.

    EVAR.

  • I had a 2000 from 1998, it was a fine machine but I have since moved on. It's a shame Gateway went and sold out their customer support. Had they avoided that, I think they still might have a fighting chance in the computer market today.

  • Daddy sounds like he should be hawkin' knives at the county fair.

Creepy the way he touches her.

  • i actually have a gateway 2000. not a 1994 one, but one they made in 1998. Gateway once was one of the top brands. Now they are slowly fading away... :-(

  • I also own a gateway 2000 computer with a Intel Penitum II 233mhz cpu mine is a g6-233 model used to run windows 98 it now has windows xp with 256mb of ram. It's old but it served me well when my HP Media center Pc 864n suffered a motherboard failure.

I used my gateway 2000 for a long time until I got my new dell vostro 200 mini tower I still have my gateway 2000 g6-233 from 1998 also I also have a gateway g6-400 from 1999

They are both still in use today.

  • yeah, gateway 2000's are really reliable!! but, most older computers are reliable. that is why i love window 95 computers.

  • oh yeah, mine is a gateway 2000 GP6-450

  • I hear their stock right now is at $1.90!!

Wow what happened to this once thriving company??

  • their computers suck ass thats what happened.. they last almost a year then crash

  • i bought mine like 3-4 years ago and it works great.

  • yea works great as a paper weight

  • hahahahaha i always love good jokes.

  • hahaha i bet they paid a ridiculous amount of money for this crap commercial LOL

  • LOL all those crap computers at 0:58

  • lol! 0:14

  • rofl

  • If someone didn't know the topic of this video they'd think he saw a hobo sleeping on the floor:D

  • Did I just witness an encrypted Scientology advertisement?

  • woah what a beast!

  • ya i took out the motherboard and videocard and put in nvidia products now i can play crysis on it.

  • remember when gateway used to be good computers?

    Yeah, neither did i.

  • meet your needs, ay?

  • THIS WILL BE GOOD FOR YOU

  • For sure. My ten year-old Gateway 2000 is now my web server running OpenBSD on it. Still works like it did the day I got it.

  • She called it a mini desktop?!?!?

  • It would make sense for Gateway to make their cover for their desktops covered in black & white spots.

  • @TheGeek1028 Yes indeed... or just make their computers a white cube and paint black spots on it

  • 50mhz!!!!!

  • 0:56 lol.

  • got 1 just like that and still using it right now

  • O RLY?!

  • My friend does too.

  • lol pause at 0:14

  • I should make that my channel icon lol.

  • Now both my icon AND background!

  • crappy ass computer . betcha it waight 50 ld.

and he touching her in the wrong way ,

    jkjkjki say jk

  • LMAO........ what?

  • why do I feel like I'm watching a porno from the early 90s?

  • I remember this ol' thing. It was my first "gateway" to the world of internet porn.

  • Heavy metal!!

  • wat 'bout daddy's little porn stash.

  • Epic.

  • lol, 'mini' desktop. XD

  • Those were the biggest pieces of crap in the pc world back then. What a pile of garbage!

  • Whoa, it's the Matrix.

  • 0:57

    lol....

  • Why did these kind of ads not look so gay in 1994?

  • They did.

  • Why does his daughter look 30 years old?

  • Nicki - listen to me. Do NOT go into the light. Stop where you are. Turn away from it. Don't even look at it.

  • lol

  • Does this remind anyone else of Twin Peaks?

  • I started to watch this and thought "wait, did David Lynch direct this?"

  • 0:58

Apparently he's got a Fry's aisle in the next room.

  • i collect antique computers, so if i had one of these it'd be on display somewhere around my house as opposed to a landifll.

  • "poopskinTheLiar"

You are a computer nerd. literally.

    LoL

  • I strive to be :D

  • good for you poopskin! I collect antique cell phones.

  • Great PC for the time. My grandpa had one of these. I loved it. The Windows 95 was great. I was only 4 then, so I do not really remember it much. I only used it 2 times. Now my uncle has it. I want to buy it. I want to see if it could run XP and Vista. But first, use 95 for a few years.

Now my grandpa bought a Windows 98 PC. it had 98 for like 10 years, then I upgraded it to XP Home Edition. Goes real fast!

  • I would try running Vista on a machine that old...

  • I would, hopefully my Vista disc works, it was made only for the Gateway MT6728!

  • good thing its illagal to throw away electronics now!

  • It is?

  • yes becuase they contain lead mercury and cadnuim people are insane about what they eat and they just throw stuff away that gets into food and water

  • My grandpa had one of these! I only used it twice, to play solitaire. He gave it to my uncle just to sit there. Not setup. Just sitting there having people mess with the keyboard. I might buy it. I don't know.

  • HAHAHAHAH...

"It didn't cost me an arm and a leg, but .... even if it did..."

it DID cost an arm and a leg :P

  • This starts out like a porno movie.

  • That was THE WORST computer I ever owned. No more Gateways for me.

  • Mmmm...smooth-talkin' daddy is looking pretty hot right now ;P

  • i got given a p5-100 in january. i wanna update its parts!:D

my neighbours were old, so they didnt know how to use this technology, so its in wicked condition, but its a brick:D

  • @BUSHELLPICTURES I have a P5-120

  • @MixerVM I got a P5-200 and still use it today

  • My 3rd PC was a P5 133 Gateway 2000. The screen was made in the UK and the PC was made in Ireland (or vice versa). I loved it, and I still love it, and thankfully I still have it. It never deceived me...

  • So glad Gateway is long gone! What a pathetic company.

  • still in building quality computers today!

  • lots of HD space.... what 4GB??? i got 250GB

  • probably 300MB or so, actually.

  • OMG not all my music would fit in there!

  • I remember back in 95 or so when my dad bought his first gig harddrive. I kept thinking why in the world would you EVER need so much space :)

  • I thought the same thing when I got my first 100 gig hard drive, but even THAT isn't shyt anymore :-P

  • Wtf 4Gb that was in like 1998, not 94. Dumbass, and 250Gb is pretty small by todays standards, though admittedly I only have 60Gb.

  • how am i the dumbass

    1. in 1994 you could get a computer with a 4GB Hard drive.

    2. in 1998 you could get a computer with a 1-10 GB hard drive.

    3. And you are calling my 250GB small when you only have 60GB

I think YOU are the dumbass

  • Now if he got her this today....

  • if he gave her this today she'de be like

'what the fuck dad, why would you do something like this too me you sick bastard!!'

  • LOL so true!!!!!!!

  • Daddy! Whats this? Its a toster oven you dumb bitch! now cook me some muffins!

  • Yeah I posted it too now. Just for you.

  • Hey can you post all of them, like the one with the psychiatrist.. sooo funny.

  • now if this commercial was for mac this is what i would make them say

    "Hey Come look!"

    "Wow Daddy why?

    "Well, you are getting older."

"Wow thanks its a Mac Pro!"

"Its got DVD and a 3.0GHz Processor with Mac Os leopord!

    "wow its just for me?"

    "yes"

    "well what will u use?"

Pulls open door with closet full of macs!
