There have been plenty of fast subarus and plenty of fast skylines. Skylines never made it to the US so everyone automatically thinks they're some God-made car. That's why there are USDM (US) and EDM (European) STi's and Evo's opposed to there being no USDM or EDM Skylines, only JDM. JDM safety restrictions aren't as though as say USDM's which is the main reason R32 and R34 Skylines can NOT be legally imported.

Of course the STi beats the GT-R stock for stock, STi's are tuned better from the start, better AWD has 300 hp stock, GT-R about 276 HP. Thing is though, the RB motors are much Easier to work on, and have ALOT more potential in the build, the STi is an amazing beast, don't get me wrong, but wow they are sons of bitches to work on, great motor that can achieve either insane accell, or insane top speed, but it is in no where near the grasp of power the GT-R is able the withold. RB's are not a toy.

The Skylines have a better Tarmac 4wd system and trust me, every GT-R from the R32 has been pushing out way more than the quoted 280hp from the factory, they just say that to get past Japanese laws (280HP limit and 180km/h limit.) which is also why all japanese sports cars go WAY off the speedo, they only go to 180km/h as that is their QUOTED top speed.

Different League! Skyline is a tuners car made for short quick runs or blistering top end. There are skylines built doing 1/4mile in 7.2 seconds and top end speeds of 223mph. Subaru is a rally car which you can fly in and go places u just can't take a skyline. Skyline is way faster so stop comparing them. I own a skyline GT-T by the way and I'd be quite happy to drag race your AWD heavy scooby oh mine has had the engine mod'd a fair bit if that doesn't bother you :-)
