I have been flying 4 channel heli's for a while and been looking to upgrade. What does the idle up switch do?

Idle up kicks the throttle up to a preset position and allows full control of the collective. Meaning you can have full range from +10* pitch (full stick) to 0* pitch(mid stick) to -10* pitch (low stick) and everywhere in between. That way you can do things like inverted flight.
