Beautiful arrangement. Just my free opinion, but the drums are a little hot from 1:43 to 2:47. I would also lower the pitch of the snare, take some of the damping off the toms, and put a little verb on it, but that's a personal preference. Idk if you can digitally edit that in or not. All that said, I think it is really, really good.
@gspiess1 The snare was the drummers Tama snare. No way for me to change the pitch. I did try thickening the tone up a little in the mix. The overhead condenser catching the cymbal also has a lot of snare in it. I'm still trying to get Eric Wirsing to redo the guitar part for me. Then remix! :)
I will also A/B the mix with TSO's when I remix it and see if that helps me dial it in. I'm mixing on my PA speakers, and its kinda hard to judge where everything is sitting in the mix. Thanks for the kind words!
