  • gts 250 but gt520 is dx11 capable

  • gts 250 or gt 520 better?

  • what gpu do you recommend for a normal gta iv gaming rig? low budget though

  • no SLI?

  • Do you have this card wired using the two DVI ports?

    I'm looking for a good dual-dvi card that can do 1920 x 1080

  • Can this graphics card play shogun 2 on really high settings???

  • Do you run this two cards in SLI-Mode? And if you do, is the performance much better?

  • Dude im getting a pci version of this card just 512mb and its from zotac, is there a big difference between the two?

  • @DipKins33 Nope, practically the same especially if you don't plan on hardcore gaming.

  • i have the EVGA - GeForce GT 520 2GB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 Graphics Card an was wondering if i should change my pcie clock from 100mhz to a higher setting?

  • Nice video, been trying to decide which card to get. I was thinking about the 430, but now I'm leaning more towards the 520.

  • idk whats up with yours but my i only have 1 of them and the rating from windows on my is 5,3 for aero and for gameing is 6,5 (ram 7,1 processor 5,9 so on ) also i think you are a little wanting too much froma cheap card it works fine for all games no lag good fps i run any game most on med or some i can run on high as long its not a game where theres like 50 thing blowing up at the same time

  • @gant207 also i did not over clock it

  • what about arma 2 mate? 3 will it run

  • @yelp70 It will be able to run arma 3

  • will this run TF2 good?

  • @rellthelord Yeah it should run pretty good.

  • @rellthelord Yes you could play on the highest settings, the source engine is very easy to max out and also very beautiful!

  • Radeon HD 5450 (im have right now) vs GeForce GT 520

Which one is better? ( same 1GB ddr3)

  • @aznhelsed123 The GT 520 is probably better, ATI cards always seem to have issues with games.

  • can this card run the cryengine 3 free editor smoothly. please respond :)

  • 9800 GT Black Edition Or geforce 520 runs more FPS?

  • @shermperry Probably about equal to be honest. Neither one would be worth upgrading to if you plan on doing any type of a gaming.

  • @Vidia48 whats a cheap card thats better than my pny 9600gt? i was gonna buy this until people started saying its not good for gaming(which doesnt make sense the specs look good to me) my 9600 gets the black screen of death when over worked so i have to underclock it to 550 core and 850 memory amd o wamt something better and overclockable. Also, can i use my old card for physx? or is it to lame.

  • Bad video card? :D :S

  • All i want to know is can it play fallout 3?

  • @MrAshrak117 yes it can easily

  • Will this place Battlefield 3 on atleast medium graphics? I have an old NVidia GeForce 8600 GT OC with 512MB and about 565 MHz clock speed

  • It's a decent card if you casually game, minimum everything though.

But if you want nice performance and great graphics 560 ti is around $250, great card.

  • @SENTRY000 I agree.

  • @Vidia48 thank u so much ;)

  • @Vidia48 Thank you;-)

  • What the better?

    GT520, or GT440? :)

  • @lokibestfc 440 buddy.

  • @Vidia48 again me. 430gt or 520gt? thx for the answers.:D

  • @lokibestfc 430. A GT 440 is an overclocked 430. But the 430 is better than the 520.

  • Nice unboxing but are 2 of these cards better than my GeForce 8600 GT at 1.9GB Video Ram?

  • is this a good gaming card?

  • @richiesupreme16 Not in the slightest, the geforce 9800 gt is better than this piece of shit.

  • 1:19-1:34 that's what she said

  • junk

  • @dave777blaster YOU'RE JUST JEALOUS

  • @YoungMoney835 Evga is junk

  • Is EVGA good brand for Nvidia cards?

  • @hevimetallimias They are one of the best brands out there for sure.

  • @Vidia48 does this graphics card have at least 1 GB of memory

  • I use this to play skyrim on a 1920x1080 monitor, it works great at low-medium, with 20fps, it also looks better than the 430 in my opinion

  • @dilerboi Glad it works for you I'll try to thumbs this up so it goes towards the top. I've been having a lot of people ask lately how this does in Skyrim and your response is a big help.

    Thanks for viewing!

  • @Vidia48 I play 1600x900 mw2 with my pentium e5400 16gbs ram and I get about 40fps max settings!!! I love this card! Mine is the 2gb version.

  • big box... shit in box..

  • @Reguiletexx People like you who think that a $50 card can run any benchmark test at 1080p with 928925FPS are just fucking ignorant. Not every card is meant to run only games, fucking KIDS.......

  • @vangstaz Go fuck yurr moms ass bitch i dnt even say that card can run games at 1080p Bullshit...

  • @Reguiletexx You did say it was shit, so what does that mean, SHIThead?? umad bro? calm down and be happy jeez :DD

  • @vangstaz yee this card is shytt... better is the 5670

  • @Reguiletexx ONLY in terms of performance... that's it. You know why the GT 520 is better? Because it's more affordable and consumes less power. WHAT???

  • @vangstaz whoo cares it consumes less power , i want a card to play estable on 720p resolution... this card is not able to play games maxed on 720p... pff

  • @Reguiletexx well SOME PEOPLE don't play games all day like kids do K? Plus 720p is candy for the GT 520 anyways :DDD

  • Can this graphics card run Skyrim? I know its probably a stupid question but im just curious

  • @TacoItachi Yes, It's capable of running but don't expect high settings.

  • @Vidia48 Its fine as long as it can run it.. sorry to ask some more but what about if my computer is a pentium dual core E5500 2.8GHz with 4gb of ram?

  • @TacoItachi Dual-core CPU, 2.0 GHz or faster 2 GB RAM DirectX 9.0c video card with 512 MB RAM

6 GB HDD space Windows XP/Vista/7 [32 or 64-bit] Internet access for Steam activation

  • I don't get it why are you running 2 none sli cars in one case ?????

  • Dude mine can run on ultra graphics on WoW and it doesnt lag and i dont have it dual

  • @glock1234able You're probably running a low resolution.

Either way WOW is very old so I wouldn't be surprised.

  • Comment removed

  • @Vidia48 i am planning to dual this crap do i a need a wire

  • this douchebag needs to talk slower and stop taking speed. fuckin dumbass moron

  • @bfullstar I agree.

  • will gta 4 run on the GeForce GT520 2gb

  • @chrisrob188 Most likely on lower settings.

  • @Kilgor771 It sure does if you plan to game on it ha ha.

Otherwise it's good for a desktop office machine for a facebook mom.

  • can it run battlefield 3?

  • @FinaleFrontier lol probably not. But if it does it would be bad.

  • @Vidia48 would it run fallout 3

  • @FinaleFrontier Yeah that should be fine.

  • @FinaleFrontier yes it can run battlefield 3 at medium/high settings on 1024x768 at 23-25 FPS.

  • Hello To ALL of YOU,

I have Intel Core 2 Duo 2.53GHz with 4GB RAM on Asus P5SD2-VM motherboard of power supply iball lPE223-400 of Gamer Cabinet, currently running Nvidia 7300 GS 512MB PCI-E graphic card.

I bought XFX Nvidia GT520 1 GB Graphic card. PLEASE Can anyone tell me that Can my system (Power Supply) handle it briefly.

    Thanks

  • @rajesh3281 It probably will be fine but you didn't say what size your power supply was. It needs a 350+

  • @Vidia48 Thanks. Mine is 250W. I am currently using Nvidia 7300GS 512 MB DDR2. The new one is DDR3 1GB.

  • WHAT? 520 GT in SLI ? Are you nuts? You could have bought a second hand psu and GTS 250 and beat the shit out of that benchmark with it -.-

  • @DroodleTech It's not in sli they're set by themselves.

  • @Vidia48 How do you mean?

  • what's better for gaming? 2 520 or 1 560?

  • @don2xify 560 lol

  • @CallOfDutyAirsoft xD.. what's a cheap but really good gaming gpu for gaming..?

  • @don2xify i recommend the 6770

  • @Vidia48 :) also i think i might be getting the new amd 8 core cru (dont have the money for an i7 :( ) just to put it out there

  • @Vidia48 ya but its called classified which makes it sound more badass which makes it better :)

  • @sikuaka2 You have a point there. :D

  • @Vidia48 lol im some ways the 570 is kinda better because mines classified :) is yours classified :D

  • @sikuaka2 Nope I have a stock GTX 580. A stock 580 still out preforms the classified gtx 570.

  • lol im getting a 570 classified u jelly

  • @sikuaka2 No, I have a GTX 580.

  • is this better than the gt 240?

  • @luis19279 GT 240 is probably going to be slightly faster equal to the performance of a 520.

  • @Greenday4everrrrr Hey just wondering what's your power supply? Cause I have a pretty low PSU and it seems this card takes low power to run.

  • people plz suggest some mainstream cool games which work on this i will be buying thins soon

  • You can compare 430 with 530, slight improvement to the newer series. Same with this o:

  • @Greenday4everrrrr Yeah 4gb's of ram is pretty much the ideal amount of ram to have right now.

  • Comment removed

  • @N4TH298 nah , im buying from eu.evga.com :D

  • @N4TH298 i mean where im buying it :P

  • @N4TH298 i know but as i saw the difference is not that much for 20$ more and yes im getting the FPB version cuz its the only one besided OC and SC version :P

  • @N4TH298 If you've tested a bunch of cards around that price range you would see that a lot of cards actually score decently and perform well for that price range.

For this card it's not the case but there is cards out there in this price range that will score a 6.3 in windows.

  • oh man i saw here on google the 460GTX is faster than the GTX550ti and its cheaper but i cant find the card anywhere near to me or in the shop that im buying there and i dont want to buy and ship it , but i saw the compare and i saw the 550Ti is better in every category i mean it got better bandwidth better gpu clock shader etc... so i think il buy just the GTX550 Ti 2Gb OC EVGA version :)

  • i have a 9600GT is that better than this GT 520 ?? i need fast response , cuz i wanna buy this card tommorow and i would buy than rather 440 GT ddr5 1gb or 440GT ddr3 2gb?

  • @yoscruto1595 If you have a 9600GT this is most likely going to be a downgrade. You're better off looking at a GTX 550TI if you want to see a noticeable difference.

  • @Vidia48 yeahh but i cant afford a GTX 550 TI , i know hat graphic card , i said GT 440 GDDR5 1gb , so i think it should be better than mi card , i found on google a compare and as i see it is better ,im confused :S

  • @yoscruto1595 You're better off to save up some money and get the 550 TI because it's not worth throwing your money away. If you want the hardware comparison between the two go to google and paste this in "geforce-9600-gt-512mb-vs-geforce-gt-430-1gb" and it should be the first link on the top.

That's a GT 430 which is only slight under clocked from a 440 and is better than a 520.

  • @Vidia48 yeahh , but i meant the ZOTAC GT440 1GB DDR5 810/3200Mhz , but maybe il save 50$ more and buy a EVGA GeForce GTX550 Ti FPB 1024MB DDR5 951/4356Mhz , cuz i googled for an hour and saw its 3 times better than GT 440 , 5 times than GT520 and 2 times than 9600GT , tnx anyway for helping :)

  • can i run wow cataclysm with that? at least on medium with 40 fps??

  • @Alaya7 It really depends on your resolution but if you want a guarantee of it running with at least 40fps on medium settings buy a GT 430 or 440.

  • @Vidia48 tks for answering. I actually asked my mom for a GTX 260 and she bought this GT 520 for 30 dollars less.. great! =/// i'm pissed off.. i have a 9400 gt 128bits and I dont even know if this GT520 is at least a little better...

  • @Alaya7 I looked at some benchmarks and it looks like going from a 9400 GT to a GT 520 is about a 40 percent performance increase.

  • @Vidia48 at least that!! geeee tks a lot for answering, i've been reading forums the whole morning about it, and i couldn't get any information.. =D

  • @Alaya7 Yeah, No problem I hope everything works out for you. :)

  • i get 6.6 with gigabyte gt 430 :)

  • If you test the card, hit me up with benchmarks on Oblivion. 1280X720 Max settings, no AA and no HDR.

  • This is a cheap card, might buy it for my friend for his birthday, he currently has the gt 220 :P

    im such a good friend

  • @TheWoWRevelation You might want to consider buying the GT 430 or 440 it's about the same price right now and it's much better for gaming.

    Thanks for viewing!

  • @Vidia48 yeah i literally just checked :) but instead to take advantage of him (yeah im a good friend :P) ill buy his gt 220 for like 15 or 20 pounds whenever he gets a graphics upgrade, simply so i can put it in dedicated physx for a boost lol

  • @TheWoWRevelation For a good price, you can get a HD 4670 or GT 430, GT 430 beats the 4670 most of the time, but the 4670 beats the 220. The 220 beats the 520, so you might reconsider getting him the 520.

  • @megamanxtreme2 read what i wrote above,

  • @TheWoWRevelation Thanks! I been thinking of getting a GT 430 for about 5 months, but I hesitate since it's too much for all of my games, the heaviest is Oblivion. I was thinking that getting a GT 520 would save me couple of dollars. XD

So, I need someone that has the card to show me some results on a benchmark for Oblivion, at least the view of the outside.

  • @megamanxtreme2 Edit: 520 eats the 220, sounds correct. I had my sources wrong.

  • @Greenday4everrrrr That's actually pretty decent but black ops heavily depends on your CPU more than a video card so that's probably why you run halfway decent.

Either way it's perfectly capable of gaming so I'm glad it's working out for you.

    Thanks for viewing. :)

  • i get about 80 fps on cod 4 with this card and a quad core :P

  • @imCllm That's pretty good but CoD4 is an older game that's why it does so well but either way that's a good amount of fps.

  • @Vidia48 most games i play i get more than 60 fps so it not just the older games i get quite a lot of fps on bo 66-80 on that ^^

  • @imCllm It really depends on the resolution that you run on the card.

I'm guessing that you run a lower resolution and that's why it runs so well for you. If you ever have to turn the resolution up to 1920x1080 or above it will probably start lagging.

But as long as you run it at the current resolution that you're at you mine as well have the top of the line video card because it doesn't get any better until you upgrade to a higher resolution.

Glad everything is working out for you :)

  • @Vidia48 whats the point of having it on a higher res and make it lag like mad when you can have a low res with plays fine ^^ do you just test them or do you buy them and keep them ?

  • @imCllm The resolution depends on the monitor you run. If you don't run your monitors native resolution it will not look nearly as good and sometimes it will be off set.

  • Im gonna use that as an physx engine, will it work?

  • @raybbo I haven't tested the card for phsyx but if that is its only purpose my guess is that it would work pretty decently.

  • @Greenday4everrrrr

Nobody is lying the video is what it is.

1024 x 724 is a terrible resolution and that's why you're getting decent fps if you get a regular monitor that has a decent resolution I'm sure you'll be saddened.

    32 - 65 fps is decent but 26 - 42 is not very playable.

Thanks for viewing and sharing your opinion. :)

  • @Vidia48 26-42 is very playable, cap it at 30 and you're good to go. :)

  • @XBLSmackithTheDown Single player would probably be fine but if you're playing a first person shooter online you'll probably notice that you're at a disadvantage compared to others with a higher frame rate per second with less lag.

  • i have this one but it's sucks ... ps/ vs 5.0 and 1 gb ddr3

but i cant play game with high resolution like 1680-1050 or 1024-768

    that's why it's sucks

  • @strangeboy190 Yeah it's not designed for gaming that's for sure I believe it was designed for home and office use for bluray playback and stuff.

Gaming is definitely out of the question for this video card unless you're running insanely low resolutions.

  • @Vidia48 yeah ur right .... it's maybe for home using and preview videos

  • do u know any other good video card for gaming with low price 50-150 $

i want a good video card for black ops and bad company 2

  • @Vidia48 its made for home theatre:D

  • this card can run gta 4 with a celeron D?

  • @oscarhm11 It's hard to say but if you're worried about it just buy a GT 430 dual dvi it has everything that card has and more plus it will run GTA4

  • @Vidia48 ok thank you
