A little stuck on Splash Mountain

the boat have always be far enough away that you couldnt see the other boat in front of you or behind you the only time you might have seen them would be going down the drop while your going around it atleast thats the way it was in 08 when i went and now they are like 5 second apart i dont think that very safe even if they have the lap bars now too. that drop its now very safe to have boat after boat coming down like that !!!

7:51 I got stuck right there before the big drop. 6 or 7 boats got backed up and we had to listen to those buzzards taunt for five mins.

My family and I were stuck in that same place last time we went to WDW to but we just royally waved to everyone watching us from below XD though it was for about 15 - 20 minutes, and one of the 'smart' people actually got off the ride while it was stuck.

i remeber my first time,i got stuck right before the drop,it took like an hour and i was like almost asleep cuz i was like five and then it droped.itr was pretty scary,now i allways go on the ride now

I'm suprised as close together the boats where that no one collided. The boats are suposed to be like 3 minutes ahead of each other

@trujilbt No way are the boats then 3 minutes ahead of each other at all. For the drop, I believe they are around 20-30 seconds apart.

@Disneyolic your more correct! actually as a CM at WDW i know that the system allows the logs to be 13 seconds a part unless you have an e stop which can potentially back the logs up causing them to be closer together but even if this happens they are always at a safe distance. I have never heard of a log colliding with another, but logs do bump each other if the unloading area get busy.

One time we were on this ride, both my dad and sister thinking it was the big drop (weIRD) raised thier arms for the two puny little drops! (i didnt because i ALWAYS think im going to fall out into the thorns, so yea i kinda thought it was the big drop too, ps my sis is not an adult and neither am i my sis is older than me! O_O ten years older) i also always make this weird face every time we go down the big drop so yea if u see a weird face in your picture, thats me.

this happened to me too. i was at the edge and they made us jump off to the side or else we would pile up on top of each other at the bottom of the hill. the guy there was a d-bag and blamed us. we complained and got a free day at both water parks. typhoon lagoon and blizzard beach.

@Ariannabby The Disney World version of this ride is TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!!!!!!!! It's done sloppily and no one really cared. Disneyland's is better.

it's funny at DL bc if your a scared kid sitting in the front...

they try to hide in inside the log bc there is a big space.

but they get hurt badly so there is a height requirment for front seat right now.
