I'm thinking of getting the star wars old republic edition, I've never had a mmo mouse before. Is it really that much nicer to use? And worth the money?
@mrtypr For a short answer, yes, i have the normal naga, and it's great for MMOs, being able to use 14 extra buttons for macros and action bars etc is really useful when your thumb isn't normally doing anything while using the mouse. It's a great mouse, worth the money and I'd definitely recommend it.
thought it was 19 i have the from side to side binded... on the scroll, lol nd yes im one of those peeps that watches thhe first 25% of the vid and makes a comment
what do u think is better in terms of comfort and useability? razer naga epic or logitech g700? im wondering cuz i like the g700 and its much cheaper due to a sale at my local computer shop and i was wondering if the naga epic is alot better than the g700 thanks
@whitekid1324 I have G700 but G700 is made from a very hard plastic which is not comfortable. also G700 is MUCH bigger than Naga, I have small hands, and G700 is not comfortable for me because the bend in thumb-shelf is egdy, so it hurts me, i really hate it! Go with the Naga, im gonna sell my G700 and buy it!
@quake14 the reason they market it toward mmo games is because of the 12 numbered thumb buttons. Razer has set up an add-on in WoW to make those 12 buttons keybindings. MMO games tend to have a lot of different keybindings and you can see there keybindings on the screen so it makes the buttons easily remembered which is very useful for rotations. They have other Mice which are not directed toward MMOs which no MMO player would buy because it would be nowhere near as useful as this mouse.
yeah man, Idk why they still marketing towards mmo gamers only. I use naga for fps games, graphic apps, surfing, since it comes out ... etc. I wish it can have unlimited game profiles =.=
@SmallBoyzzz Although it is specifically geared towards MMO games, it is very usable in many others. A simple example, in L4D, I bound the weapons, items, reloading , etc. to the buttons on the Naga. All I use my left hand for is to move/strafe, jump, and crouch. Movement feels more focused and fluid to me because everything else is bound to the Naga. In the end, it really depends on how much you want to utilize the buttons on the mouse.
@Noob1012 thanks for your informations, just thinking if i get this razer naga epic without playing mmo games, it will be useful buying it playing FPS games
The mouse has 16,581,375 colours.
