This guy is a nut case, who was in office in 2008 when the stock market crash and kept saying we wore ok. How mush is health care going to cost if we do nothing as this nut would do. He sure has a short memory.

@biking50 There isn't a thing in th health care reform bill to keep costs down. The hospitals, doctors, malpractice insurance underwriters and civil lawyers haven't changed a fucking thing. So, beyond the 2000 pages of rhetoric, it's just potential toilet paper. Boehner may not be completely correct, but the fact the DEms pinched this thing out of their asses is indisputable.

McCarran-Ferguson Act - passed in 1945 allowed insurance companies FEDERAL IMMUNITY from competition. It expired in 2005, and republicans did nothing.
In MA, insurance companies have successfully lobbied to put a cap on any given area on the number of practices that can qualify for insurance credentialing (accepting insurance as payment.) New practices must take cash, which nobody uses to pay for medical treatment.
Corporate takeover that undermines capitalism, brought to you by republicans.

Our entire country will collapse with Seniors taking the brunt of this CRAP CARE BILL! They will be told that money will be siphoned OFF and that money is the primer for Obama CRAP CARE! ....of course the Seniors and disabled will be having their CARE CUT!.........so OWEbummer can start a slush fund for his medical manifesto. Think how fun it will be to wait to see your Doctor in the Hospital Parking Lot - as Obama did not PAY THEM! And now they live in their cars at the Hospitals! Can't WAIT!

I'm so sick of these power-hungry Democrats ignoring the will of the American people who strongly oppose the government takeover of our health care system. It will be a shame if they are allowed to destroy our healh care system and increase the deficit by more than $1 trillion!

rationalnow - all these companies were DOA - Obama is just "rewarding bad behavior"!...but to only a hand picked few. The rest of us? Jobless Homeless and Savings GONE and Obama wants to ROB THE RICH? This will only fund the Obamas next trip into town to see a Braodway show! After that its the last 5 workers payin the FREIGHT for the entire countrys Public CARE? ...lol!...That seems a bit stupid and really naive to be cut and pasting MOREamendments and then claim 1900 pages EQUAL= FREE CARE? huh
