there is no such thing as winner take all in the democrat/republican paradigm.

I used to be republican, now independent/tea-party. I'll vote for anyone who reduces the size of government and deficits, as well as works to restore/rollback to the constitutional republic states rights, REAL reform (Glass Steagle tax reform and real health-care legislation that costs nothing but just sets the rules)

Sadly republicans are as bad as DEMs, both have added to both government and spending.
