My wife and I thought the same thing. The guy is building her a house and she won't compromise on a bathroom tile. She is over the top to the extreme and comes across as a spoiled brat when she doesn't get her way.
Every time my wife and watch the show "House of Bryan" we have bets to see, in which episode he rebels against the selfish child like behaviour his wife Sarah displays. She's completely clueless and has no concept of the massive headaches and expense she has caused by making "Little" changes. She really hates it when she doesn't get her way. Bryan, you have the patience of a saint. We speculated that the pool was a "Make Up" gesture to appease the selfish blondatude.
