This is really impressive! But you could have shortened the time even more if you didn't cast Aura at the beginning. I can understand if you cast Aura on Squall and Rinoa to increase the probability of getting Lionheart and Wishing Star, but the Aura on Irvine wasn't necessary since his limit break relies soley on the type of ammo selected. Nevertheless, nice video :)

I remember whan I fought against this ass..took me a total of 30 minutes to kill using eden summon. but I did use something that enabled your party to be invincible for a period of minutes while this ass attacked you. when I finally killed him I was screaming at the top of my lungs DIEEEEEE DIEEEEEEEEEEEE DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! so loud I forgot it was 3am and the neighbors were all asleep..

@johnianflores at that part of the game, you shouldn't be relying on summons anymore. spamming limit breaks like lionheart is the way to go.

So I understand that this is a great achievement, but what I don't get is why people care about the difeerence in hp from pc to psx. I beat him on the psx faster than this without a problem, so how is it that "Omega has less hp on pc version"? I'm just curious why it matters cause a win is a win anyway.

@kiluln It's random. You have to have the lionheart weapon, but once you do, there is a random chance of pulling any of the 4 finishing moves.

Omega's HP was reduced for the PC version. On the PSX version, NTSC and PAL, he had over 1 million HP. You didn't even break 900k damage.

Good Job but using the psx version it would have taken much longer. In this video you dealt about 877000 damage meaning omega weapons level is pretty exactly at 74 ;)

@TheShadowfan9000: From the Gayla, as an easy way. You can check it at Card Menu. You'll find lots of them at Shumi village and the areas around. Sometimes, they don't have Meltdown to draw. But when you reach a higher level (may be 50 or above), they'll have.

Yes, it does more damage, but the point of this video was speed. Zell's limit abuse takes a lot longer to do, even if you can achieve much more total damage with one turn.

No it wouldn't. FFXIII's battle style was terrible. Mash auto battle and occasionally paradigm shift? No thanks. If they remake any of the traditional FF games with the newer-age battle system, it would ruin the spirit of the game itself.

I used PS1 version back in the day, Squall Rinoa and Zell.. Omega had like, over a million HP didn't he? Did he really do a million damage there?

I remember this battle taking about 45 minutes for me!!! Then again it was the first FF I ever played, I was a noob.

I like to think I no longer am.

I only made it because of Angelo (named Lassie haha) reviving Rinoa after Omega killed my whole party halfway through.. I had just enough time to get back up and running :D

its simple: The limit breaks was edited. Is imposible to do the lion heart two times simultanly and the wanish star is the limit break so hard to select in randomise list of angelo combinations. i cannot calculate the total damage but i dont believe this battle at level 100. sorry for my bad english..

@marcieldeg not really, if you only train Angelo with Wishing Star and none of the other abilities, you can really boost your chances with it being used. Not to mention all 3 characters were in the yellow, which would cause all of the limit breaks to virtually default to the most powerful moves. ie. lots of time for Irvine + 8x attacks and LionHeart with Squall + Wishing Star with Rinoa. Quistis' blue magics become VERY powerful in dire situations as well.

Nothing to do with luck he made sure all his chars where in crisis 4 Before using his limet breaks He was doomed (if he got a perfect) to cast lionheart and lucky wish If you ask nicely i wills end link to the wikipedia article abotu crisis and how it works.

Yeah but even if you don't have Aura you just need to press whatever button it is you want to press when you want to change the selected character and it'll give you an extra chance at having the limit break. Still faster than casting aura...

The NTSC version is really fast. PAL is not nearly so fast.

did you cheat with the luck stat? 255 luck is a LOT to raise manually, even with junctions.
