If you don't focus on the red dot then the picture changes straight to black and white at 1:18

But if you do focus on the red dot like it asks, then at 1:18 the picture does change to different colours for as long as you can focus on the red dot.

Then once you lose focus on the dot, the picture eventually turns black and white.

If you watch it again, without looking at the red dot, you'll see it goes straight to black and white. I did it a few times, and found that the color lasts as long as you can focus on the red dot.

Staring wears out the color receptors in your eyes. You make the color of the image the inverse color of what it should be (red-green-blue goes to cyan-magenta-yellow), so that when the image changes to black and white your eyes cannot pickup the inverse colors and so everything appears the opposite. Very cool!

Wow! Amazing how perfect the colors were, Fry's hair was orange, his jacket red, the mutants' skin was green, and just the right shade too. If I hadn't looked away from the dot, the only way I could tell that it wasn't a normal picture is that it was just slightly faded. Cool!

No its a valid optical illusion wat ur looking at 1st off is a picture with the colors inverted, the red dot is the focal point, with the picture being in your periferal vision, then when the picture loses color your brain compensates by supplying its own colors, only inverted, which in this case is the right colors. in stead of frys jacket being green it turns red, the chicks skin goin from red to green, yaddayadda. i sound like a total nerd but its true, any idiot can work it out, its not hard

if u keep looking at the red dot, even when the picture changes, the second picture seems too be bronze in colour... u can either watch the whole thing then scroll back to the second image, or if ur impatient just go from looking at the picture(second) and the red dot to see how the colour changes..

I think, because my eyes look at different things, they have a different depth perception, and therefore do not perceive colors in the same "stuck there" way whenever I look at something else... or maybe I was just trying too hard not to blink... Whatever the case, those kinds of illusions don't suit me well. *sigh*
