They're going bankrupt, seriously they've got their hands on most of the animated cartoons avaidable in America, including Kai, (which made Nicktoons the undisputed king of cartoon shows) and they still manage to fuck it up. I'm sure 4kids means well, I mean I watched WB for pokemon and yugioh every morning when I was a kid and I loved it, but they've just been sucking it up lately.

@dynomitis It's causing a ton of controversy. Now it's not just Ocean fans vs. Funimation fans. DBZ Kai has split up the Funi fanbase between fans of the old dub and fans of the new dub. And the footage isn't from Kai, it's from the Dragon Box as usual. I just took the sound from Kai episodes and replaced most of the Ocean sound.

@SlimD716V2 Yh it is causing alot of trouble but FUNi has their reasons for dubbing KAI. Some people should respect over opinions and not bash eachother for liking a particular dub. I don't see that happening now that Ocean is doing KAI now.

Cool spin on a classic promo. I like Kai, the only main problem I have with the English dub is Gohan's new voice actress, Colleen does not do a very good job with the character in my opinion, I liked Nadolny's Gohan much better.

In my opinon DBZ Kai is pretty good, voice acting has improved, and Freeza sounds less... gay. I also like the fact that they made an effort to stay a bit more faithful the the original Japanese verson (Special Beam Cannon to Makankosappo). So all in all, I like it. If you don't like it, okay then, I won't stop you. This is just my OPINION. Anyways, great video Slim, you should make more of these. :D

It's pretty good until gohan opens his mouth. Piccolo's laugh at the end is not as good as the ocean dub version. Nice slim this was very creative.

@servo1991 The video is restored by placing high quality clips from DVD over the original. For the parts with Moltar, he used filters to give it a cleaner look. For the sound I matched the high quality music up with the original music.
