Thanks for the video! I've tried to do that so many times and it just wouldn't work. Apparently I was putting my hairstick too close to the braid. Now that I know where I was going wrong, I might be able to make it work.

I like it! The braided start makes the center look better than using bands.

I don't have any leather barettes or slides (yet), first on my list are some Flexi-8's :-)
