Hi there, although I like this computer, I must say: the design is really uggly. At least, I think so... :D I myself have an alienware area 51 ALX and I love the design and yes, they are both, very, very overpriced.
Really hurts to see people buying this and/or the alienware. Looks like and im sure your computer aint that fast compared to what you pay for these make-up artist pc's. Your system spec can be purchased for a total of 782$. Buy the parts sepperatly and built it urself and save money while u get a powerfull Computer ;)
@Siggaard18 lol well i got the alienware m17x and every game works awesome on maxx settings paid 2.2k euro and it has MXM slot so i can replace graphic cards with new ones so if you have money its worth it + i dont think you get Exclusive full customizable lightning effects of the KEYBOARD ( LAPTOP ) anywhere else ( if we are talkin about a AW/laptops) so what really hurts when people say its not worth it DONT HAVE MONEY FOR it bitch aout how much it costs simple as that..

ummmm it's not bad but you have to overclock it like me tho. you can overclock the CPU and RAM by using the Intel Extreme Utility and you can overclock the graphic card by using the MSI After Burner.
then it would run way better and because of the liquid cooling system the CPU would never get hot but if the graphic card goes hot it has a small fan on it and when ever it goes hot the fan goes fast BUT MAKE SURE IF YOU OVER CLOCK THE GRAPHIC CARD, YOU KEEP THE MSI AFTER BURNER ON AND ------
sorry, but where is the liquid cooler for the graphics card ? this thing isnt much better or quieter than a highquality aircooler, they just say it to get the price much higher...

Dude how much did you pay for this?? just looking at the Predator range and my £500 gaming PC easily outperforms their £1300 PC. If I spent that much I would expect a little more than quad core and 4GB ram.
@tombaalhuis1 It's custom built. quad core 3.2 GHz, 4GB RAM, 1TB HDD, 5570 1GB GPU, DVD drive all in an NZXT phantom case. Water cooling for the Acer's is so unnecessary as well.
@nikdimas yeah it would do. It runs source games beautifully with 4xAA and full high settings. It is a lot better than I thought, it is my first time build and when I upgrade the GPU it will run crysis very nicely at high settings. You don't have to spend so much on the case like I did but it keeps it really cool even with stock heat sinks. Sp yes, fantastic for an average gamer :)

Dude how much did you pay for this?? just looking at the Predator range and my £500 gaming PC easily outperforms their £1300 PC. If I spent that much I would expect a little more than quad core and 4GB ram.

@tombaalhuis1 It's custom built. quad core 3.2 GHz, 4GB RAM, 1TB HDD, 5570 1GB GPU, DVD drive all in an NZXT phantom case. Water cooling for the Acer's is so unnecessary as well.

@nikdimas yeah it would do. It runs source games beautifully with 4xAA and full high settings. It is a lot better than I thought, it is my first time build and when I upgrade the GPU it will run crysis very nicely at high settings. You don't have to spend so much on the case like I did but it keeps it really cool even with stock heat sinks. Sp yes, fantastic for an average gamer :)
