  • Pause at 0:50 and look at the screen it clearly still works.

  • Hmm.. I'll see if my TB withstands a fully-loaded expedition Land Rover...

  • do these toughbooks do porn?

  • BUT- can it make me a sammich?

  • Lets see the Macbook Air do that.

  • I think it's a great shield for all the Lybians vs Khadafi

  • I saw panasonic, but that doesn't mean anything. It could spontaneously combust. Does it protect against that?!?

  • @supfoo32 yes it does smart one a tough book can be dropped like 6 FT. and survive

  • I know toughbook is tough. but too expensive!!

  • @xxarina you mean 229 $ ?

    Search For it On Ebay.com

  • but will it blend?

  • WTF!!!! o_O what model is?? , is a CF-31 ?

  • it's possibly better for breaking blocks than office use xD

  • Now try putting it in a washing machine

  • @benaudebert works, its waterproof and if a hummer cant damage it i dont think a washing machine can

  • @EnfinityX

    Oh shit son

  • For anyone wondering i did notice the panasonic logo at the end but i had to go and click pause cos the guy moved the camera away like 1 sec after it came on, so for everyone who keeps sending me @sunny123able1's, would you kindly please go fuck yourselves, thank you ;)

  • thats impressive it even booted up at the end...I seen the pansonic logo

  • szopd le az anyádat te féreg köcsög!

  • Im'a go eat a popsicle now...

  • now can it survive the atmosphere? Launch it into space, and see if it survives re-entry.

  • @andyli916 lol the atmosphere? That's what we're IN. If you take it in space and use it, it'll probably still work. Nothing is different, other than zero pressure, no particles, and very low gravity.

  • for gods sake its a tough book throw it down when puttin it on the ground

  • That H2 would look like a Kia minivan if it was put next to an H1

  • i see it boot theres a panasonic logo right before he picks it up at :50

  • @gir4evr but it is kind of faint and stays there indefinitely..ahh well, guess we'll never know.

  • That sounded really unhealthy and I did not see it boot you should drive a hummer over a Dell lattitude xfr and see if the hummer survives

  • is it bulletproof?

  • @CDsnuts000

It does not have to since electronic counter measures are integrated which manipulate the projectile's trajectory.

  • @CDsnuts000 Good question. I wanna know also

  • Toughbook are tough but Hummer's only look tough.

  • The laptop is full of tiny rocks and you put it on the hummer's paint. DOH!

  • If you can emasculate it, then how is it a she?

  • I didnt see it boot.....

  • I didnt see the toughbook lite up

  • try fireing a bazooka on it

  • so am i the only one that didnt see it boot up at the end

  • @sunny123able1 yes!

  • No, if you would have read like 5 comments down you would know that if you pause it at 0:51, you can see Panasonic in the middle and a white box in the lower right. The brightness must be turned down or something.

  • @sunny123able1 it did boot up didnt you seen Panasonic on the screen

  • @nositiocerto I saw it

  • @sunny123able1 BLIND

  • @sunny123able1 no, i think youre not, but SHE did, you can see the panasonic logo :)

  • @sunny123able1 It boots... just configure your monitor with more brightness-!

  • @sunny123able1 it said panisonic it was just hard to sse cuz it was in a parking garage

  • The H2 is really a toy version of the military humvee, of course its not going to do anything to the toughbook. It's like cutting a piece of paper with a coldsteel blade, then calling good. Stupid

  • @sunny123able1 All we see is the BIOS for a second which doesn't mean anything. We don't know if it passed the hardware check by the BIOS and then booted up an OS so we still have no idea if the thing actually works. All we know is the screen and the motherboard work.

  • @sunny123able1 it did boot up

  • @sunny123able1 You didnt see the "PANASONIC" appear on screen? lol. did.

  • @RasAhmose well yes now i did, but think about it i left that comment back on a sunny day in july or august 2009

  • @sunny123able1 @ 0:50 You Can See It Say Pansonic... BITCH!

  • @sunny123able1 went to the panasonic splash screen. so it should be alright.

  • @sunny123able1 your blind

  • @vBraaaaaD your stupid for replying to a nearly 2 year old comment

  • @sunny123able1 doesnt matter when it was posted :| lmao

  • @sunny123able1 LOL... it must be bad to be the top commented one and being wrong, for over a year now... lol... Cheers mate!

  • @sunny123able1 Plenty of situations when a computer is turned on, the display shows some image (bios- or motherboard-related), and then, freaking nothing. In English: Showing an image for a couple of seconds is not booting.

Let 'em do it again (if they can afford buying another piece), then spare an extra 30, or so, seconds of film - which Windows 7 will really need to boot.

  • @oYoYebutu judging by the date of the vid it cannot possibly have w7

  • I didn't knew that laptop is she .....

  • he must be a native spanish speaker as I am. I sometimes do the same mistake.

In the spanish language, things have gender. The computers are female....that's why he said she, instad of it......I think....

  • I think you're over-thinking it. I took 2 years of spanish and I know what you are talking about with the gender thing, but I think its just a saying. Kinda like how guys call a boat she, or a car. Like, "Yeah, I got her up to 100MPH on the freeway"

  • @yakuzahi

Treat em mean, keep em keen ;)

  • @yakuzahi *I didn't know.

  • Try burning it.

  • finally someone REALLY tests it.

  • It works, It is hard to make out, but you have to watch at 0:50, you will see a white box at the bottom right, and Panasonic in the middle.

  • how the fuck did it take that

  • @markybyeah Well Panasonic is making a big range of tough products and like with all their products they are building and desging them extreemly well. Panasonic is the best i say.

  • If you don't see it boot up, paused at 0:51 and in the bottom right corner and you will see a white box and the panasonic name in the middle of the screen.

  • So the overcompensation laptop wins against the overcompensation-mobile. Next question, which one's uglier?

  • Yes it boot. you can see the bottom right

  • It didn't even boot! It was just a blank screen

  • bottom right (intel or someting)

  • @chrischoy9 yes it booted i saw the Panasonic logo come up.

  • It did boot I saw the panasonic logo pop up.

  • that shit is broken motherfucker..

  • never saw it boot up.

  • try to cresten a boat with it. like attatch it to a rope and slam it into the side of a boat, then let it fall into the water when its still on and have a diver retrieve it one hour later.

  • put that on youtube!

  • its on youtube dip stick

  • where?

  • epic fail

  • nice car!

  • I didnt see it boot

  • Get a second hand one for 1000 bucks.

  • where can i get a very cheap one of these

  • That's fantastic! W0W!

  • try to put her on fire

  • It isn't a problem to replace RAM or even processor if you're running linux and you know what you are doing. It doesn't matter if it's toughbook. In fact - server motherboards allow to replace more parts without turning anything off.

  • Not bad considering a hummer drove over it! and no other laptop could come close. i'd get one although i have to wonder by the fact that you could barely see it boot up if it was the fact that the backlight got blown out or if it was just the lighting conditions when filming? :D

Either case i know that toughbooks hold up well and they are pretty dependable.

i've even heard of people who remove and replace components like RAM sticks while it is running, pretty cool.
