No way man, it's timeless! Besides, all of these diffraction grates are based off that image. Not the album cover but the image that they used on it from some guy's experiment. (Yeah, I forget his name)
Good CD though. Just found out that I'm missing "Breath" from it and I can find the CD. Haha
The cover symbolizes something these laser cant... So no its not out of date at all. Thank you for the video, I can make my purchase now with this info.
Sorry my experience of laser pointers is limited. So why are they made so powerful that they can damage? are these the one that are more for professional use like the areas you mentioned?
For both entertainment and professional use, having a beam that has long range and very bright is beneficial. You need a lot of power to give long range and brightness so these lasers can also do damage.
Very hard to say, the distribution of energy across the output beams is not completely uniform. The split beams also have a very high divergence so it depends on the range power is measured.
These diffraction gratings are designed for high power lasers and use high grade optical glass so they can handle multiple watt lasers with out any damage.
But maybe dangerous if we accidently put the laser into a reflection device and if the reflected ray come into once's eyes, he becomes definitively blind in just a fraction of inattention time !
awesome, but i prefer the look of the starburst defraction grating, not too many dots, but not to little. with this one there is awefully a lot of dots, can the beams of each one be seen at night?

what size can these laser Diffraction have? can u make imagese on the sky in the night? pls answer
smiahaisilviu 1 year ago
They are 57*42*3 (mm)
They can create beam effects visible in the sky BUT you need dark conditions, a powerful laser and to be standing in the right position to see them.

what happened to your red lasers? dont carry them anymore>
ATFDC24 2 years ago
Nope. We have pretty much every color except red in portable lasers.

i dont get ittttt!!!!
please help me!
ok i dont think my laser is very strong
it is red and i got it from thos toy box thingy....
the ones where you put a toonie in there and turn the handle thingy
then a laser comes out in a sphere
so heres my question
when i shine it at something, it just makes a little red colour dot, no lines!!
y??
MSLuver09 2 years ago
Sounds like your laser is too low in power to create lines.
dragonlasersfanman 2 years ago
make some smoke... if you mean the line you can actually see
OGMO11 2 years ago
buy a high power green or blue laser
red are wery hard to see with your eye, you can werry rarely see the lines from a red laser because of the wavelenght of the light

diffraction is the bending of light as it passes through a gap the same size as it's wavelength.

dude...they have laser pointer safety goggles....

dude, cant believe ur not blind, or have sight damage, if it goes threw the lenses in the glasses........
jonjobob 3 years ago
No danger of blindness if you are careful and especially not if you use laser safety glasses.
Have to be careful with the red laser though.

what is the main use of these lasers?
cryingindian 3 years ago
Mostly entertainment/fun. They do have a lot of practical applications such as alignment, search and rescue and avian dispersal

i didnt know that people with no lives had professional lazer pointers for professional use only as in like in college you majored in laser pointing
ChrisMarshall1218 3 years ago
Read what he said. There are professions that use lasers such as search and rescue. Yeh but your totally right those people have no lives you idiot

Question. Lets say input beam is 1 watt what would be the energy density of each little dot?
Question: how many watts can the little diffraction glass take without being destroyd?
