I like Porsches, but I never liked how they sounded. The only Porsche that sounded good to me was their flagship model, the Carrera GT.

The Toyota engine just sounds like your every day, small displacement, uninhibited, broadbanded, high-revving, 4-cylinder.... and that I like.

Porsches just sound... engineered. You might be able to appreciate it, but it doesn't always turn you on when it's screaming at it's limit.

Lotus is a great car, BUT for 70k, you get nothing but a 1.8L toyota engine and a cool looking body...where as in porsche you get 340HP and luxurious interior for 90k, and Porsche is easier to fix. But It's really hard to pick one.
