Man, this anime is soooo...complex and philosophical. The world they live in is so fucked up yet they act so casual. It surprises me that Shinji and other people don't commit suicide. I'm nowhere near to figuring out everything in this anime. But this song just goes so well with this anime. The melody is just so carefree and nice, but the lyrics are depressing and melancholy-like. Never been a big fan of Eva. I mean the story is pretty cool, and the characters are engaging, despite me wanting to slap them. A lot. But my BIGGEST beaf with this show is how it FUCKS up a lot of the religious aspects. Kabbalah has almost nothing in common with those show other than names. I mean, I can't really blame the Japanese for that, though. If they can't even get Christianty somewhat right, how could they get Judaism right.
