  • Thanks for the vid. One of these was under the Christmas tree for me and I've been *loving* it. I also have a Gibson LP Traditional with classic '57s at 3x the price. Quite honestly, I'm not sure which one I like better at this point. If you check out my channel, I did an A/B comparison of the JBLP against the Gibson LP Traditional.

  • Hey , great review! Im the same WWIT at MLP. Its funny I bought my JB for all the same reasons as you. JB is a great player, but I didnt buy the LP for his name, just the features that he appriciates. I also play through a Fender Mustang. Mines the III. Im hoping that Epi might come up with a simular guitar, only with Gibson P90's. Gibson pups are so much nicer than the Epi ones.

  • good demo, what was this played through?

  • @glassbottleblues I do all my videos with a Fender Mustang

  • @Malikon13 I thought it was solid state but hell it sounds good, can only imagine through my vintage amps what kind of tones could be had. Thanks

  • @glassbottleblues It's hard to ignore the convenience of the Mustang when filming. Just plug it in and plug it into the computer. No need for mics.

  • good review

    nice guitar

  • maybe that should be the "Mitten of Mute" ;)

  • Love the Glove of Mute....once again, nice playing Mal...

  • Great review Mal. More of an Agile guy, but this particular Epi seems to bring the goods.

Hey flowerdrop... maybe because anyone in the market for a 50's profile LP GT with Gibby bursts would appreciate a detailed review??? Ya think? Why did you even take the time to ask the lame question?

TY for the review Mal, and as always great playing.

  • why such a long review for an Epi?

  • @flowerdrop1 Because it deserved it. : )

  • @Malikon13 all kidding aside, that sounds like sh#t

  • @flowerdrop1 thanks for your meaningful contribution

  • Man!!!! I will pass on ur url. Keep up the good work.

  • Hey Mal, It's Woodsie from MLP and ST. Great review and great playing. i love JB. If I didn't already have a GT, I would consider this axe. what is it you liked about the BB2 & 3? I have 57 &57+ in my LP Trad Pro. How do you think they compare? i was wondering if there was other options I might like better.

  • @woodsie831 I like them because they rock but can still do 'thump' for metal. Lately I've been loving the sound of the JBGT with both pickups turned on. bridge at 10 and neck around 5-6. It's smooth and creamy, but still has that bright top end from the bridge pup.

    Very cool and fun guitar.

  • Great review! Comprehensive and informative. Playing many styles gives an idea of the range of this guitar. And I have to say, some nice playing!!

  • @charisjapan Thank ya Sir. :)

  • Thanks for the review
