I was at this show! I recall a cold evening at home with nothing to do. Saw that my old college favs were playing, jumped in the car and walked in midway through the first song. For the next couple of hours, they played every song I could ever want to hear and a few recent ones that were just as good. Dave Lowery made fun of me for taking a photo with my Blackberry. I was in heaven. I was in 1987. Then the show ended and it was back to reality. Thanks for posting.
Just bought my ticket to see 'em in the Beautiful city and home of the world chapion GIANTS, San Francisco!!! WA hoo mutha lovers!! 12/27/10!!! CVB is right up there with all the greatest bands. Why do you listen to this cd 300 times?!
SAw Cracker at the Belly Up in S.D. CA, but the crowd wanted Camper. All of a sudden they broke into Pictures Of matchstick Men. Good show. More Camper than Cracker that's my choice.
This is the top of my favorite songs that I've ever heard...The rest of my list...Janes addiction...three days(live its just perfect)....Old 97's...question..(gents, if u need a wedding song this is perfect..or i'll write u one)...melvern taylor...everything reminds me of you(should be famous..check him out...) and the beatles...for no one..check out my band if you're bored...before the crash from new hampshire...stay dry(its raining hard)...curt...
Its great to read these comments and see that people like this song as much as I do. I think its as good as any song ever written and probably more good. I try never to miss this gang when they are near. Cracker, Houston, June 2010, comin up.
this is a sweet, sweet song, the words and the russian type violin combine to just about break my heart, thank you times a million for putting it on here, have been looking for it everywhere, thank you so much, it is a priceless work of art
I just heard this on radio paradise and went searching for it here. I really like it! I'll have to check out more of their stuff before deciding if I buy or not. Thanks for uploading this. Really catchy, happy tune!
The live version is just as good or maybe better than the album. Would like to have been at the Abbey that night.

How can mere mortals summon such otherworldly beauty? Tom Robbins in books, CVB in music!
