  • WOW! Fox and I actually agree on something! There is a God!

  • You believe in evolution so you are religious.

  • @JuanOlivier1

idiot. idiot. idiot. it's like saying "you believe in gravity, you're religious." or "you believe in napoleons existence, you're religious.".

-> you're religulous. (thanks to bill maher for this term. :D )

  • @BigerFaterTony No its not, gravity can be proven, Napoleon's existence can be proven but evolution cant be, logical. And I'm not mad for you calling me an idiot, id be desperate to if I had to defend the idea that we came from a rock

  • @JuanOlivier1

not a rock. do you know what rocks consist of?

i'd be desperate if i had to defend:

    - that we come from a omniscient being that created the devil?!? (and us: we suck, too.)

    - that earth is only about 10'000 years old

    - the bible against any other religion without having evidence for the existence of a god.

    - my belief in the bible because it's full of immoral stories.

    - ...

and all this while not even knowing the alternate theory to creation.

    idiot.

  • Go Gibson! WOW!

  • So....there was actually something worth watching on FOX at some point? I'm amazed.

  • Check it out on you tube: man killed in plane crash, man sees heaven and hell.

  • "they should not be allowed to pass this superstition on to their kids"... Stop the boat, I wan't off. I'm not in this race to tell parents what they're "allowed" to do. I wanna help them see what they should do. It's a fine line I know but, we (individually) are not not the dictators of morality. Lead by example & others will follow.

  • I know where he's going when he dies.

  • @psxwarrior One should go to heaven for the climate, but one should go to Hell for the company. I'm sure John Gibson will be enjoying good company if Hell exist.

  • @psxwarrior we all need to ask forgivness for our sins.

there is still a chance he might come to the true knowledge of jesus christ.-

  • @999Thip Not of this. He denied the Holy Spirit. You don't do that. You just don't. There's just no hope for the guy. God has given him over to strong dillusion. It's over for him.

  • @psxwarrior i can not speak for god, im glad he is a forgiving god.- a god of second chances,..

im worried about my own eternal soul..

a daily fight againts sin,, and liberals..

    god bless you brother,

    tea party 2012

  • aaaahhhhhhh!!!

  • Jesus was in fact executed for blasphemy

  • Funny how there's only AUDIO. No video, hmmm, wonder why??

  • I have faith that my car will start in the morning I AM WRONG FOR THAT? faith is not religion!

  • @keneyed209 That's not faith. Faith, by definition, is without evidence. You trust your car to start because you've had a great deal of success in previous attempts to start your car.

  • "Faith is so wrong, it is so unreasonable, it is so without merits"

    Truer words were never spoken.

  • @TomFynn its best to remain quiet, and thought a fool- then to speak up and remove all doubt.--there is zero doubt you are a foolist person.

  • @999Thip You are blabbering about "sins" and "true knowledge of Jesus Christ" based on no evidence at all, and you have the gall to call other people foolish? Wow.

  • @TomFynn not i my friend.

i dare not call a person a fool.

by their actions, they are foolish

  • @TomFynn well amigo, what i do know is that jesus christ is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one goes to the father but through his son jesus christ.--

this i do know, and believe..

    jesus is lord.

  • @999Thip Know this: You don't know shit.

  • @TomFynn its typical to rant on things you know nothing about.

case in point- read tomfynn comments

  • @999Thip And that from a ignorant yokel, sorry, Tea Party supporter? Wow.

But you *do* know that your whole "movement" is nothing but a tool of the rich?

That, in fact, you *are* a tool?

Surely you know at least *that*?

  • @TomFynn what i do know my liberal buddie, that if americans dont wake up , this idiott obummer will surly destroy america.

46 million americans on welfare/foodstamps- and you think after 3 yrs this traitor can do any better.

his smooth talking does not put americans to work.-

the only tools are the dimwit progressive ,socialist, kool-aid drinking liberals.

  • @999Thip LOL. You think that your President has any power anymore? That it matters what Obama does? Wake up, you fool. Those "jobs" are in China or done by computers. And so you know why? Because greed is good. And guess who invented that? Exactly.

  • @TomFynn yes i know who invented greed.

    the evil one, the devil

  • @999Thip LOL ROFL, LMAO. Get over to Walmart, they have tin-foil hats on bargain offer.

  • @TomFynn no walmart where i live bro..

  • @999Thip Then you have to go DIY:

    Step 1: Get some tin-foil.

    Step 2:

    Step 3: Tin-foil hat.

  • @TomFynn WHAT IS DIY

  • @999Thip JFGI.

  • @TomFynn ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXWZ.

    I HAVE MORE, I WIN..

  • @999Thip IITYWTMWYBMAD?

  • @TomFynn YOU ARE FORGIVEN BRO,

    GOOD TO TALK TO YA,

    HAVE A GREAT DAY.

    GOD BLESS YOU

  • My respect for John Gibson just increased by 100%.

  • Yes, right. "Hope and happiness"....and correctional rapes of homosexuals and witchburnings of little girls and stoning for apostasy and terror in the name of god and the inquisition and the crusades and...

    So much joy and happiness.

  • people wouldnt know until its too late anyway..nothing people can really do after that

  • cool shit bro

  • I feel ao bad for the people, who have given up there birth right to be a daughter or son of The one and only True God. Angels stand by and Record your every word and action. I wamt my words to only be directed of the HolySpirit. I love the Holyghost! I love Jesus! I love God our Gracious and Loving Heavenly Father! And when the end comes I want to be Accepted in the Beloved.

  • matt 10:32 “Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. 33 but whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven. (jesus)

1 cor 1:18 for the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

  • GAY!

  • For those who are unaware of what blasphemy against the holy spirit means. It's the rejection of jesus christ. That is the unforgivable sin.

  • @newj34 o fuck your primitive ,cazy,cutltic outdated bs

  • I'm not sure mr. Gibson truly feels this way or not...it's certainly his choice if he does. I have my doubts of the authenticity of this video considering it's froze. with a little editing anything can be said.

  • The more these folks make these video's, goes on to prove how you have absolutely no idea what it is your talking about. This is NOT blasphemy! You think what your doing is NEW? HAHA, this has been done even in biblical times, this is nothing new, this is only denial and mockery of God and nothing more Mr. Internet Tough guy! :-P

  • Woaaah, this was on FOX? I believe he was fired after this.

    GO ATHEISM!

  • Christmas is a Pagan Holiday not Christian

  • This is on FOX? O_o

  • Is this the same guy that wrote "The War on Christmas: How the Liberal Plot to Ban the Sacred Christian Holiday Is Worse Than You Thought."?

  • Comment removed

  • They allowed him on FOX News? Awesome!

  • @xRobotkillerx

    IN GOD!

  • @xRobotkillerx

My question is, "When is the last time YOU and YOU alone ever read any scripture?" The Bible, true or not, is filled with much wisdom that ties with common sense which so many people have misplaced. What was America founded on? A stronghold with God. How did this country become so great? Through words of wisdom&knowledge over violence by people like Thomas Paine, Martin Luther King, Jr. and founding fathers of this country. Country was founded by whom? Pilgrims. They ALL believed

  • @Scaly420 Most of the founding fathers and framers were deists, atheists, irreligious or secularists. Just btw.

  • I don't believe in God but I do believe that it is so wrong to impede on a persons beliefs that bring them hope and happiness.

  • @Princetrov Like the 9/11 hijacker who's religion brought them so much hope and happiness, that they died serving it? I would feel bad impeding that too.

  • @Princetrov Sure, it might make that individual happy, but in the scheme of things a belief in God, gods, or religion has been the prime motivator for the worlds greatest wars. Non-believers (or at least non-believers of the popular God at that moment in time) throughout history have been murdered, tortured, burned at the stake, and oppressed in political systems where you can't be a leader unless you have a belief in God.

I will impede evil until my dying breath. And "God" is evil.

  • @Princetrov How is sharing your opinion impeding on another person's belief? Are the unaware of the fact there are alternatives to their belief, or is it just bad to say it out loud?

  • @Princetrov not as much hope and happiness as actually doing something useful. you should know its false hope that deserves far less respect than it demands.

  • @Princetrov

poeple should also base their beliefs on facts and not on delusions just so they feel better about their lives who can say that they do that and not feel some shame

  • @Princetrov

There are people in mental institutions all over the world, whose belief that they are Jesus, Joan of Arc, Caesar, Cleopatra, Napoleon...ect. brings them hope and happiness.

  • 1000th like!

  • generations and generations of brainwashed fairytale followers who believe in 600 bullcrappers who made up the bible......damn i thought we were way more advanced

  • @xRobotkillerx I disagree. There are some fantastic stories in the Bible. If nothing else, who doesn't love a girl being turned into a pillar of salt? Mmmmm, pillar of salt, ughughughghgghghhhhhh (*in Homer voice)

  • @nioberob

So if our lowly human perceptions cannot recognize truth, when the bible claimed it was the truth, how could you tell if that statement was true or false?

  • @DickJohnson3434 - I never said humans cannot recognize the truth. I said ppl's short-sighted perceptions are not truth. HUGE difference! An objective viewpoint is higher than a subjective one. The problem we face as a society is that most ppl are only focused on their subjective viewpoints

  • [satire] Religion can't be so wrong. After all how else is a televangelist going to afford a private jet. Trash talking new technologies that may offer relief of suffering from disease or injury is only protecting market share as is beheading apostates. Its all just business dude. Atheist public officials is that they can't swayed by fallacious argument which the faithful use as bread and butter. That's why praise Yahwey, some state laws exclude them from public office. ACLU be damn :^P

  • Wow, a religiously intelligent person on FOX! xD

Too bad he's probably still a die-hard Republican....

  • WHAT THE FUCK, AN ATHEIST ON FOX NEWS?!?!

  • @MrAnthonyfilms if this baboon actually said this, then he is my new hero. I wonder if this can be verified

  • @Spicniggereater Actually.... yes! Stars farted out the stuff that made us; the universe would be made out of hydrogen and nothing else if it weren't for stars. We are made of stardust. And when we spread this beautiful news, they call us cynics. Your incredulity at plain demonstrated facts is disheartening.

  • @InvestigativeJourney Well prove your claim that no god exists. I don't have to prove anything because i'm not making any non-existant claims.

  • @smurfboywv Yes you fucking are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Goddamn, your ignorance/naievity is astounding. You were not born believing in god, it was introduced to you/you were indoctrinated. Atheism is the default position. Anyone wanting to say that we need to be worshipping some magic sky daddy also needs to show me he exists

  • @mehico33 God is real, deal with it before fire and brimstone fall upon you. I was born a believer and your ignorance won't knock that wall down. I don't need to show you anything, simply put its up to you to find God for yourself, no one else can do it for you. God Bless You! Jesus Loves You!

  • @smurfboywv You fool, I take it you dont belive in the bible then, jesus taught his apostles to spread the word, to teach and make disciples (neither of which you seem interested in). Christian means christ-like, you are not very lol.

I dont believe in your holy loving god because there is no evidence that he exists (ANYWHERE!!!!), so I guess ill suffer his holy loving torture for all eternity... oh well :P

  • @mehico33 The Bible is Gods word, so yes I believe in it, prove to me that there is no God!!!!

  • @smurfboywv There is no possible way to prove that there is no god, however there are pleanty of things in the bible that arent true. For instance the earth is 4.5 billion years old, also evolution is a proven fact. Tell me, do you think the dinosaurs walked the earth less than 10,000 years ago?

Of course you could always say god caused evolution as many do...

  • @mehico33 Evolition is manmade bull, whenever humans can't explain something they create a myth that we "evolved" from monkeys lol. If that was the case all the monkeys would be humans, so major fail. And how do you know how old the earth is, did you create it? I don't care about dinosaurs, they aren't even mentioned in the Bible as part of Gods creation. God did not cause evolution. About the closest evolution claim real is the creation of new plants by cross pollination, thats it.

  • @smurfboywv

    hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha........ *facepalm*

You are shitting me, you have to be.

  • @smurfboywv Sometimes it's difficult to know whether someone is satirizing Christians or if it's a real Christian just being stupid.

  • @smurfboywv Will you believe in anything that I can't prove doesn't exist?

  • @smurfboywv And if you were born in India, you would have been born a Hindu believer. And if in Saudi Arabia, a Muslim believer.

  • @mehico33 Lord forgive him for using your name in vain, he knows not what he is doing. Amen.

  • @smurfboywv The truth is im an ultra sophisticated alien cyborg sent to this dimension to spread misinformation. But seriously, do you honestly not believe in dinosaurs? do you honestly believe earth was created less than 10,000 years ago?

  • @mehico33 No I don't believe in dinosaurs, its not mentioned in the Bible, and it does not matter how old the earth is, knowing earths age isn't going to help or hurt me so its irrelevant.

  • @smurfboywv Well ya know what? Im happy for you. But if the christian god exists he is one hell of a prankster (planting dinosaur bones in the ground, making our genes so similar to those of chimpanzees, appearing to some people but not others etc). Have a good life my brother

  • @mehico33 I will!

  • @smurfboywv

The assumption I'm going to make here is that you're a troll.

Either that, or a sincere Christian; with a tendency to patronize others. Either way, you're doing not much other leaving pointless comments, nobody is getting annoyed and nobody is taking them seriously. So you've lost either way..

  • @BelfastAtheist Another atheist name calling, how mature. I do not lose, you will lose because you do not believe in our Lord God.

  • @smurfboywv You're insane.

  • @kkthxseeya For what, believing in God? I'd rather die believing, and find out he isn't real, than to die not believing and find out he is and burn in hell for eternity.

  • @smurfboywv

Pascals wager really has no merit.

  • @smurfboywv So you choose to believe? But only because you want to hedge your bets? Because, ya know, just in case?

  • @smurfboywv "you would rather die believing and find out he's not real, than to die and burn in hell for not believing"..pascals wager otherwise, there's a bigger problem than not picking the right god..what if there is no book gods of any sort?..what isn't up for debate,is the millions and millions of people who have died because of religion...that is the true wager to ask yourself ,would it have stiil been a smart wager for all those people to have died over others insecurity of the afterlife?

  • @smurfboywv mehico33 gave you a constructive and reasonable argument and this is all you have to say? Can't you response in a constructive and reasonable way as well? It seems like you simply can't so you had to come up with this shit. How pathetic.

  • @mehico33

Nobody can PROVE the existence of God to another. Only the individual can prove it to himself. A video for those who BELIEVE vs those who who DO NOT.

It's a dead bulls eye for both viewpoints in ONE PACKAGE! ;)

    watch?v=jgFU5Ak88-k

  • @Scaly420 There is no "both" there are many, and even so the video is obviously slanted to one side. The thing is that the argument presented as "the atheist argument" whilst having its blatant flaws at least makes more truthful/rational arguments than the christlover argument. Of course I may be wearing my rose tinted glasses.

The reason, I think, the great debate has dragged on for so long is that creationists wont ponder on atheistic ideas, they will dismiss and pointscore

  • @mehico33

You hold much reasoning in your words. Now what you said about creationists: "The reason, I think, the great debate has dragged on for so long is that creationists wont ponder on atheistic ideas, they will dismiss and pointscore"; I wouldn't say that I am one who applies to that. Although I am Christian, I have been pondering the reasoning of atheistic ideas with an "open mind". And yet, no matter how much I listen with an "open mind" my beliefs remain the same because of how I feel.

  • @mehico33

    ~Continued~

    Inwardly

    booksie. com/song_lyrics/poetry/scaly/feel-at-home

  • @Scaly420 whereas an atheist will ponder on the god argument (notice I didnt say "the creationist argument" because there are none), attempt to explore it and then immediately realise it takes us nowhere. e.g. "poof! magic". How does this magic work? "It just does/you cannot comprehend". ok... I think ill look elsewhere for my answers.

It was a clever video, ill say that

  • Prove the "No God" claim!

  • @CaptainAAllen he isn't on Fox News anymore

  • Wow an intelligent news caster on Fox, who would have thunk it!

  • @CaptainAAllen Fox News has a mixed bag of presenters. Liberals, conservatives, left wing wackos, right wing nuts, neocons, free thinkers, anti-gun fanatics. You name it. But because most of them are not straight up talking point Democrats many unthinking people view FN as Republican, which if you are on the left, are viewed as extreme rightwing. ALL major news sources are establishment (government) news sources. Gibson, I believe, is Libertarian.

  • @FaganRoberts I think it's more likely that thinking people see fox news as republican because most of there presenters are straight up talking point Republicans.

  • @InKa4484 Perhaps the same reason liberals generally tend to like CNN/MSNBC because they view these other establishment news sources as adhereing to Democratic talking points, almost verbatim.

    And the beat goes on...

  • I think no one should have kids except me because I'm the only one who understands the world. Doesn't everybody see that?

  • @thesands49 Totally. You can have my girlfriend.

  • You are a shame to your parents! And if they influenced you to be a reprobate then shame on them!

  • @rhinestonenana fuck you. Typical theistic judgement. I thought you weren't allowed to judge? Luke 3:16 "DO NOT JUDGE"

  • The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction

  • I agree with the general idea, only I think atheism is a superstition born of a failure to consider the question properly. So I would prohibit parents from passing atheism on to the kids. People like Gibson would be locked up and their kids removed from their influence.

  • @dcspaced In what way is atheism a superstition born of a failure to consider the question properly? What did you view as the "question?"

  • @dcspaced Are you very confused or just trolling? :p

  • @dcspaced You may want to open your ears one day.

  • visda58

fact even by muslim community; consumating a marriage with a 9 year girls is not a great thing..

  • @itdaddy85 OK... ??

  • @Visda58 ...and?

  • EyeCandySutra

    ;)

  • visda58

you are the smartest man in the word. let it be for the record.

yep, I have child like faith. You have faith just no faith in God.

yep I will pray for you friend. sorry you think I am an arsehole. But

I cannot compete with all your knowledge. See you in the end ;)

Rev 19-22. :) talking to you is like talking to a robot. ON or OFF or ON and OFF.

there is no faith there fore no end. Good bye sir!

  • @itdaddy85 *DOES NOT COMPUTE*

  • @itdaddy85 I love it lol lol. I feel you brother!

  • @EyeCandySutra Why do you feel the need to make personal judgements about my life, such as insinuating I am an emotionless, lost "robot"? You're not looking past the surface appearance of logic (which is a very human thing) and you assume I must not be able to love or be happy (I at least I can only guess that is what you mean. If otherwise, you could actually try explaining yourselves). In what ways am I like a robot? Be specific for once, because "ON OFF" is quite a vague statement..

  • visda58

I am done talking to you because you have no faith nor do you want any faith. You act like a robot and not a human. I am sorry if I sound defeated or rude. I feel defeated since you have no faith. I am sorry for you. God bless you man. I will keep you in my prayers and hope God gives you some faith. but you have to want it. God bless man. I am done talking with you because you do not want to believe. You are a machine not a man! On OFF ON OFF!

  • @itdaddy85 You don't know what you're talking about. Not only are you changing the subject, but you're dead wrong. I live a very happy, fulfilled life. I have hopes, dreams, emotions, relationships, love, and everything else that goes with life. I am not an emotionally void robot, you just have to think I am so you can justify your unfounded beliefs and exalt your faith to a level much higher than it ought to be. The faithful do not have a monopoly on life.

  • @itdaddy85 You either WON'T answer my questions, or you CAN'T. Whichever it is, you seem to have the attention span of a toddler and the reading comprehension of an elemantary student. Let the record show that YOU are the one who gave up in the face of an intellectual challenge. You can make unfounded judgements about my personal life and pray for me if it makes you feel better, you presumptuous asshole, but it doesn't help your argument at all. I only asked you some simple questions.

  • visda58 you crack me up. You must be the smartest man on the planet. Check your insides like get a magnet and run it over your arm or your head to see if it sticks to you. Serious machines think like you. Like ON or OFF. Machines have no faith. I am not sure there is any hope for you. You act like a machine. No life no hope and no faith. I am sorry for you. I will be praying for you visda58.

  • @itdaddy85

You forgot to answer the questions, too...

  • visda58 you and I will never come to some understanding. You have great questions but they are all based on NO FAITH. I mean everyone has to have hope/faith. Hope is still beleiving in something that is not physically evident. People need hope more than anything to get them going. Take away hope fear sets in. You need hope and faith like a child. If you watch cartoons you still can have faith like a child. Look for it. God be with you friend bye.

  • @itdaddy85 You're not listening. Look up the word "equivocation". Just because you need motivation to stay alive (which is debatable anyway, but for the purpose of our conversation, I will grant you the premise), doesn't mean whatever supernatural thing you believe in is actually real. This argument could work for ANY religion, but you reject 99% of all religions! It is not a valid argument for saying God exists!

  • visda58 let me ask you something. what the heck do you believe? You have no faith man. I have never met anyone who didn't have a spec of faith and that man is you. wow! I would rather be a child. Man can only make a more technical destroyer. That is all technology has given us. technology has destroyed the family unit. Without God there is no peace! The world has designed nuclear bombs man. Even the evil have them now. It is only a matter of time before we blow each other up. Hence Armageddon!

  • @itdaddy85 I believe in things that I have sufficient evidence to believe. I'm not saying technology is the greatest thing ever, you're setting up a strawman now that has nothing to do with our discussion. It doesn't matter if you would rather be a child and believe whatever you want with no evidence, it has no bearing at all on whether your claims are true or false.

  • visda58

everyone agrees isaiah 53 is about christ. it is the prophecy of suffering. everyone agrees.

  • @itdaddy85 I disagree, for the reasons I stated. Lots of people agreeing does not necessarily mean they are correct. Lots of people agree that the Muhammed was the greatest prophet. Do you believe that? It's the argument from authority again. Isaiah 53 is too vague to confirm this assertion.

  • @ itdaddy85

Don't forget to scroll down and read all the responses..

  • @Visda58 And the remaining unanswered questions:

-Why does DNA and replication suggest a creator?

-What makes faith more reliable than logic?

-What part of my logic exactly is "fuzzy"?

-How did you learn how millions of species of life emerged on the planet, and how was that finding evidence for God and the validity of the book of Revelation?

-What is it exactly about a "self sustaining Earth", plants, animals and humans that makes you think God exists?

  • Visda58

You have to have faith to really want to live life. Like I said if you dont even believe in yourself you have nothing. Believe in Christ you have everything. You must seek God with all your heart if you dont have faith. Jesus is coming. Take that leap of faith. Just leap and believe like a child. I mean all of us still like cartoons. I even like cartoons still.

  • @itdaddy85 Child like faith feels nice, but kids get lots of things wrong because they have not developed the proper methodology. Child like belief as an adult is, frankly, stupid. You wouldn't just believe like a child that the sun orbits the Earth because it makes you feel better would you? That's what you're doing with your religion. You have yet to present any good reason for believing that God, or the mythology of the Bible, is real.

  • Visda58

If I never had hope to finish college I would have never finished. Hope/Faith in myself, faith in God, faith in my teachers. Just talk t the 100s of 1000s of teenagers who do not feel love from their parents. like 75 percent or more of kids today. Feel no hope. Without hope in life you just want to kill yourself or you kill yourself slowly like partying and drinking to death. Look around you people have no hope. Without God or hope in a real God life doesnt really matter. Hope in God.

  • @itdaddy85 You had plenty of evidence that you would finish college. Again, don't mistake hope or motivation for faith. This kind of equivocation is the most common mistake of semantics I see among christians that try to use this "argument". You're right most people probably DO need hope or motivation of some kind to avoid killing themselves, but I am not arguing that, and it doesn't have any bearing on the truth value of whatever that hope is about anyway.

  • Visda58 (1-2)Read about that atheist I mention to you. I wrote his name down. You do the research. He was big atheist scientist smarter than you and me and he believed in a creator.(3) DSS prove the accuracy of the Torah and book of Isaiah which talk of Christ dying for us all Isaiah 53. Everyone knows that verse.(4)I would rather have faith in a real God period. (5)Fuzzy logic is never ending. Your problem is you need to leap on faith. fall in the arms of God. Come to a point of asking him.

  • @itdaddy85 I can't believe you're going back to this argument. I'll say it for a THIRD time: the reason the argument from authority is an established logical fallacy is because it is inconsistent. "Smart people" are not always right about everything, you must look at every argument on it's own merit. I will believe this theist scientist as soon as you believe all the atheist scientist. Please understand this before I go crazy.

  • @itdaddy85 Isaiah 53 was not necessarily about Jesus. It was a very poetic pasage about a generation of Israel. Have you read the rest of Isaiah? Nowhere does it mention Jesus. The New Testament authors patched together stories of their own to paint Jesus as the subject of Isaiah's (and others) imagery. The DSS are merely copies of the Old Testament. This is NOT evidence of the Bible being the inerrantly word of God, even if God DID exist! You are making rash and unfounded connections.

  • @itdaddy85 I would rather believe in a real God too...

You didn't answer the fuzzy logic question AT ALL.

FAITH is fuzzy logic, and is demonstrably so. I pointed out very specific arguments of yours that are obvious, known, logical fallacies. That's the level of scrutiny I wanted from you when I asked you to analyze and point out the fuzzy logic in MY arguments. You just said "fuzzy logic is never ending". That is a completely meaningless statement.

You do not have faith. That is your biggest issue. Here is my answer. Everyone has some kind of faith. Like I hope I have a good day. I hope that cute girl likes me kind of thing. That is a start. Then I give you the bible scripture Jesus said. Mark 10:15. You must believe like a child. Like when I was a kid, I thought the Lone Ranger was real kind of thing. There are too many facts that lead to God.

  • @itdaddy85 Hoping that a girl likes you, or having faith that it will be a good day do not make those things so. You're talking about something else entirely. Faith is not hope, hope is not faith. That's called equivocation. Your definitions are unclear, and until they are clear, this conversation cannot progress. Faith is what is in place of evidence for a certain belief.

It was a fact Christ raised people from the dead..it was never refuted or disproved during the time span of when he lived and rose again and did many signs and wonders. These are facts never refuted during the time during and after for awhile. and then of course later on 100s of year later people said stuff but that doesnt hold up. there is a natural time limit to disprove things.

And college teaches you to look to authoritative sources period!

  • @itdaddy85 College should have also taught you burden of proof. Just because it hasn't been refuted doesn't mean it's true. Its called the negative evidence fallacy, or argumentum ignoratium (argument from ignorace). The claims of Jesus raising people from the dead has never been CONFIRMED in the first place. You can't prove something with a lack of evidence to the contrary. e.g. you can't prove unicorns DON'T exist, or that they must exist because no one has refuted them. See the problem?

Your questions seem endless, since they are not based off of faith. But please state them again. And I will give you my answers friend... I was only using my degree to say I have a logical mind as well. Again faith is key here and some factual proof. God gave knowledge to Doctors. Man is only a vessel. Man only puts pieces together. Restate your questions please and I will do my best.

  • @itdaddy85 Here are all my unanswered questions I found below:

-What research can you point to that concludes god must exist?

-Why does DNA and replication suggest a creator?

-What about the dead sea scrolls proves the Bible to be true?

-What makes faith more reliable than logic?

-What part of my logic exactly is "fuzzy"?

-How did you learn how millions of species of life emerged on the planet, and how was that finding evidence for God and the validity of the book of Revelation?

  • @itdaddy85 All these questions were in response to things that you said. Concerning faith... I have none. If you have sufficient evidence, you don't need faith. I do not adhere to the sentiment of "faith is the evidence of things unseen", because it's premise is unsound. If given any credence, this could be used to prove literally anything with no evidence at all. The same goes for "negative evidence", which I addressed above.

unfortunately he will find out the hard way.

Visda58..no my friend you loose. my Lord Jesus raises people from the dead. your God of logic (science) what can he do? . funny thing is I have a BS degree in computer science and love math and programming and well I have faith in God but God gave me the faith. you just have to ask God for faith in him. he will give it to you, chicken ask him with an honest heart! he will do for you if you are honestly seeking him.

  • @itdaddy85 Your degree means what to this discussion? That's the argument from authority again, which is a logical fallacy. It pisses me off that you didn't learn that in college. Call me a chicken if you want, but I did what you suggested. You're trying to emasculate me again into believing like you, rather than making an argument. Jesus never raised anyone from the dead, and science has kept my diabetic sister from going into a coma and dying for nearly two decades. Answer MY questions now?

  • @itdaddy85 And like I said before, logic (or science) is not my "god". They are tools. Are you willing to answer my questions about YOUR beliefs? If YOU are honest about seeking the truth, like I am, then you should have no problem answering them, since you already should have answered them to yourself on your quest for seeking the truth; the answers of which you have so much apparent confidence in now, yet refuse to share with a fellow truth seeker. Why hide your light under a bushel?

you stick to your God of logic, I will stick to my God Jesus.

    Rev 19-22 speaks with authority.

Bible is almost fulfilled get ready.

  • @itdaddy85 Logic is not a god, it's a tool. Your god is not a god, it's a tool. You lost the argument.
