  • nobody does drama like Shatner

  • The grandma shouldn't blame herself for the incident she did the right thing helping the grandson.

  • Could you imagine how much that hurt? I can't! That little boy is a trooper!

  • Poor boy. It's good he's doing well.

My Mom loves being a grandma, and I can imagine how horrified she'd be if something happened to my nieces or nephew when she was keeping them. It wasn't her fault.

  • i know its a reenactment but this child is in much distress, poor thing

  • I feel so bad for the grandmother as well. I don't see it as her fault. It was a freak accident and she wasn't being purposefully negligent in any way. I don't think anyone could have foreseen what had happened. There were other adults there as well and none of them had thought that there would be a problem with where the pan was placed.

  • @ICEMANof92 its nobodys fault, it was an accident, as are so many other situations on here, everyones always looking for someone to blame, i chalk it up to live and learn.

  • 227 GOOD JOB HELPING BABY E.J

  • the grandmother is also a hero in this story she took second degree burns by saving her grandsons life

  • lesson don't make tacos at home or fry grease

  • Are Their Any Rescue 911 Episodes from 1999.

  • @christinevoor No, they stopped showing new episodes in 1996.

  • could someone describe what a "skillet"is

  • @RougeKnight....SHUT THE FUCK UP IF IT WAS UR KID YOU WOULDNT BE TALKING SO SHUT UP AND SHOVE IT!

  • If you watch the video 'The Joy Of Blocking'-not mine-he talks about Mr. Rogue. He doesn't use his name. I know he's talking about RogueKnight, b/c I'm the one who told AngryAussie about RogueKnight.

I wanted to know for myself if it were possible to sue for the reasons stated.

People have sued for dumber reasons, so I wasn't sure.

Since AngryAussie gets paid by You Tube, I figured he'd know.

    His video is funny.

  • nixt time gandma put the tabel clore to the wall then he wont crall under the tabel.

  • The E.J during the reenactment and the E.J shown towards the ending are definitely two ENTIRELY different little boys :)

  • Poor E.J.

    "Mommy! Daddy! OWIE OWIE OWIE!!!"

I'd say that if I were burned by hot cooking oil (no one wants that) like that poor boy was.

  • I BLAME THE BAG OF ICE IN THE FRIDGE!

  • 2:08-2:11: That's what I'd say if I were like poor little E.J. OWIE! It's never good to get burned by cooking oil!

  • OUCH

  • Reno and Las Vegas are 450 miles apart. Goodness me!

  • Oh my goodness gracious allgood I would h8 it if this happened 2 me. I'd B terrible looking.

  • how is it the dogs fault? like the animal knew what the fuck was gonna happen...u ppl are idiots....grow the fuck up retards

  • can some of you people STOP blaming the grandmother or anyone.you are only offending people.

  • poor grandma i bet she was freaked and she probably learned her lesson :(

  • Anyone have any idea what make of chopper that is at 2:55? I can't ever remember seeing a chopper like that.

And anyone looking for someone to blame, go crack open a dictionary and find the definition for "Accident"--it's between "abrasive" and "ass"

  • First Degree Burn That will be end up in Murder at 0:33

  • can you elaborate please?

  • i feel so bad 4 i blame the grandma for not turning off the stove and i blaim the filthy dog for leading the toddler

  • @ LilBeautyQueen101- The dog didn't know any better.

  • god damn dog

  • @chromebomb how is it the dog's fault?! E.J didn't have to follow him! and i'm not blaming her, but i don't know why the grandma had it on the table with the handle facing out(!)

  • SOO who's up for taco's.

  • @u55mojonixon hahaha...thats soo wrong.

  • When the father was talking about how he moaned and groaned about his knee you can tell he wanted to say;

"My son was 15 months, and he already had a bigger set of balls then me."

  • Blame the wire!

  • wow, that peramedic was really emotional... He should write a book.... This is so sad, i had a second degree burn on my hand it didnt hurt but all of a sudden all the pain came. I cant imagine how this baby felt!

  • If this is a reenactment of the event, how do they make the kid cry and put blisters on him?

  • The blisters are makeup dude.

  • @Yzushinaze

1;I'm not sure. i think they hide a toy, or something that'll upset them.

2; they probably didn't, because if you look closely, you don't see them. the burn on his shoulder is either paint or just a faake wound.

  • Pinch him maybe? And stage make-up.

  • @Yzushinaze makeup

  • @Yzushinaze Um make up artists/specialists? And there are a lot of things that make babies cry. Maybe being taken care of by people they don't know, with the parents walking away or something like that. :)

I personally don't think they're having a camera crew with them 24/7, or just happened to caputre this on film....Don't get me wrong! I'm not attacking you or trying to be mean or anything. Just answering your question with a possible answer. Don't know if it's a correct one, though.

  • @Yzushinaze good point... cant help though :)

  • THe ladie should of paid attion

  • 450 miles?! how long of a travel is that in days or hours? (pardon the dumb question :P) that child is lucky. the grandmother did everything right. she is not to blame. nobody is

  • Very Bad Burn than a Sunburn.

  • o poor child i dont no hu to blame

  • It was not the grandmother's fault. She is not to blame for the burns. It was an accident.

  • y would grandma blame herself??? its not her fault... the kid likes the dog, so what?

  • Burns like that can be almost unbearable to cope with. I still remember my holiday in Lanzarote (about 2 years ago), where I got so badly sunburned on my back that I could barely walk. I can only imagine what it was like for that poor boy. =o(

  • so, is it okay to put on the wet towels or is it bad because it pops blisters

  • on a burn like that you need to stop the burning process with cold. The heat generated from a burn will continue the burning reaction for hours. The reason you don't break blisters is because of infection but that is secondary compared to the actual burn.

(I hate using the word 'burn' so many times but its the only word I can think of)

  • Not too cold or he'll go into shock from the sudden decrease in temperature.

    Vicki, EMT-P

  • @pizzalover85 it's bad that the blisters popped because he could get a bad infection..

  • Anyone can fall or trip over a chord thats plugged in. It was just a nasty accident where no one is to blame.

E.J. was just following the dog while playing with him, and fell over the chord.

I don't think the Grandma knew EJ was going to trip ahead of time.

At least Grandma learned that accidents can happen when we least expect it...and she may take an extra second to unplug any chords that her grandkids might trip over from now on .

  • It wasn't her fault that this happened. She can't blame herself for something that wasn't her fault. She should just accept that EJ is okay and let it go at that. It's never right to dwell on the past.

  • I feel so bad for EJ's grandmother---I agree with many others on here; it wasn't her fault. I'm sure EJ and his parents don't hold any resentment towards her. I have a brother who is 2 1/2, and I understand how they can suddenly be somewhere dangerous.

  • Yes the grandmother should have been more careful, but all it takes is one MOMENTARY lapse of judgement, and we are ALL capable of that. She saved him from having mostly third degree burns by quickly cooling him off, so his burns were mostly second degree, though he did have some third degree burns.

  • You Mean 450 Miles Away!!!

  • yes

  • That's How Far Reno to Vegas is. If you drove there it be 5 Hours.

  • His grandmother keeps blaming herself and she feels very guilty. accedents happen, that was just one of them

  • The grandmother has to stop blaming herself she saved the kid's life.

  • 450 MAILES AWAY WOW!

  • The woman could have cooked at the table without worry if she'd moved it against the wall.

In EMS training, we were told to place cords in positions that decrease the possibility of an accident.

We received a call where a woman had purposely poured bubbling oil on her daughter.

What she did was not an accident, and she's to blame for what occurred.

If something is termed an accident, then no one's to blame for it.

  • Yeah I felt sorry for the grandmother she looked like she was really emotionally scarred from what happened. That was really an accident though. But a parent who purposely pours hot oil on a kid like that should get life in prison!

  • There was another hot grease burn segment where a mother accidentally tripped and spilled hot grease on her toddler daughter in the kitchen. It used to on this site, but it got deleted because the family on it got distrubed by the comments saying the mother was careless and stuff and asked to delete the video on it.

  • At 2:17 there guy on the video...their not ambulance attendants - their paramedics....Geez when are people gonna learn..

These guys dont drive for a living !!!

  • at 0:16

  • i feel soooooooooooooooo sorry for the grandmother she was one of the heros in this she saved his life and the little boy is so cute

  • Yes me too! It wasn't her fault, it was just one of those things. Which is why I will not own one of those because accidents can happen and people can do things wihtout thinking. The little boy was so cute poor thing, EJ is my nephew's name too.

  • Just after Part One when baby EJ He was burn hot cooking oil

    Starts at 0:00 to 6:48

  • Perhaps the cord should have been elevated to table level or higher, or even plugged into a higher outlet.

  • It's the grandmas fault; that cord should have been unplugged.

  • i dont think she would have know the baby was gonna trip over it

  • that doesnt matter she should have cooked in the kitchen she knew she had kids in her house

  • She looked really sad about what had happened.

  • His poor grandma, too.

  • AWW POOR GUY :(

  • YES, that the HARDEST THINGs we had,,,, when our baby get hurt..... I HATE THAT FEELING.... It feels me weak.....

  • Grandmother was sooo incompetent, she should've been jailed for child endangerment, and the parents punished for leaving their child in her care. I would order either loss of custody, or the parents would retain it on probation with the term the grandmother never sees the child again.

  • RogueKnight,

You are the most fucked up person on youtube!! You must be some retard geek who thinks he knows everything about the legal system!! I guess you want to sue me now LMAO come find me FUCK FACE!!!

  • If you think that's great, you should read his comments on "Fire Ant Trauma" Part 2.

  • Well it pisses me off that every person should have kids taken and thinks they need to be put in jail.I mean Hell Accidents happen. I was at my grandmothers and broke my arm, RougueKnight would say my granny needs to loose custody of me.GEEZ this guy is missing sum colors in his crayon box!!

  • @LionelKid16 If you watch the video 'The Joy Of Blocking'-not mine-he talks about Mr. Rogue. He doesn't use his name. I know he's talking about RogueKnight, b/c I'm the one who told AngryAussie about RogueKnight.

  • That remark about that poor child looks like two face. You are a heartless fucker!! How would you feel if someone you loved got burnt and remarks were made about his or her's looks!!

  • this is scary look like two face from batman forever and the dark knight?

  • Aww, it wasnt grandma's fault. (although I dont understand using an electric skillet filled with oil, at your dining room table, where the cord is obstructing a walkway) but it was an accident..I wonder if the dog got hurt too? :(

  • No, the dog was clear when the kid tripped over the cord.

  • i think i have that same dishtowel

  • this is scary look like two face from batman forver and the dark knight?

  • i feel for that baby :( it hurts when grease just pops me when im cooking

  • every single burn id ever had was a 2 or three degree burn but this poor kid had it badly, i think the thing that saved him was that he had clothes and they put cold things on his burns. In the other one episode 623 the baby got burned with scalding hot water was butt naked and had nothing to protect him no cold water ice or anything just the dry towel they picked him up with

  • Oh!!!!!! God!!!!! What Happend!!!!!!!!!!

  • this show is so sad i dont kno if anyone noticed but all of it happens to little kids practicly!!! like really its so sad!!!!

  • that is bad as for the baby i would hate nto be burnt

  • Poor cute baby

  • he is also lucky that it did not disfigure him. there is a episode on here I believe and the kids face is disfigured... I feel so bad that any kid would have to go through that!

  • Ya 2nd degree burns hurt like hell because I gotten 2nd degree burns to my hand from touching hot glue. Also there are 4th degree burns where the burns are so severe they reach the tendons etc.

  • fender you are sooo right. I burned myself pretty bad about 5 months ago when I accidently poured boiling water on the side of my thumb and the top of my index finger.. it hurt so bad. nothing like what this boy had to go through tho.

  • allgood,U ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!! (hugs allgood)

  • I'm amazed that he didn't go into shock and pass out from the pain

  • 2nd degree burns are very painful, but when it gets to a 3rd degree burn you don't feel any pain. The burn is so deep it reaches the nerves.

  • i never knew that.. that is so scary if u or me or anybody had a burn..

  • i have 3 questions for allgood if u have time 2 reply 2 me how long did it take u 2 uplaod all the vids and do u check every single 1 of them for questions and are here more rescue 991 vids coming up?

  • I'm not sure, but a lot of time. You can usually multiply the length of a segment by three and that's about how much time I spent on that one segment. I try to check all the comments, but I might space out and miss a few every now and then. I am going to upload one a day for nine days starting today.

  • allgood2000 you rock!!!!!!! Thanks for uploading all these videos. They are great. A great learning experience as well.

  • that happoned to me but not that much only on my finger. it hurt so bad but all of your body aww man i feal for EJ

  • wowthese vids have opebed my eyes.now i no not to let a skillet full of grease on the table attahed to a cord.or let children rock in their chairs and they fall through the bak door.or leave my keys in my car(i would never do that anyway)or leave them unattened in the car

  • I'm glad EJ is okay

  • I wanted to Hug EJ myself. But My heart went out to the grandmother. She is putting herself through so much guilt and I'm sure the parents and EJ forgive her. I want to tell her its okay and give her a big hug too.

  • how can you die from burns?

and that was a hella long airlift to vegas 450 miles wow

  • Shock and infection are probably main ways.

  • I never thought of that

  • It's true.

  • @allgood2000 The immediate problem is shock and dehydration and blood loss if the burn is really deep. With a burn that bad, if the patient lives to worry about infection, the paramedics did a good job!

  • You skin traps fluid inside your body, when you skin burns it falls of releasing fluids, this cause you to become dehydrated and your blood pressure drops severely.

  • wow...that must suck and hurt like hell

  • his air way was closeing, infection and shock

  • Shock, Infection, Hypothermia, and loss of fluid to name a few

  • @s172mch you skin is like a shield it protects your organs inside you, from all the bacteria, and any other threat. with out skin, or if the skin is damaged, those bacterias and any other threats, have a chance to get inside you and destroy you inside, that is how you can die.

  • I was wondering if you had the other two segments of this episode.

  • Baby EJ is so cute

  • go to tvshowsondvd, com and vote on rescue 911 to come out on dvd, it is up to 433 votes

  • It happens to me when I was in elementry, before i was getting ready for school for christmas party someone spilled hot coffee and a streak of it burned my legs.

  • My mom burned her legs a long time ago that's why she

don't have a sun tan Like I do She got burned before me and my big sister was born

  • Can You Put a segment where a teenage girl calls 911 when she has asthma attack.

  • As a side note, has any of you Youtubeers heard Shatner "sing"??

  • I have once.

  • Ha ha, I have...it's interesting to see Billy do his unique renditions of "Rocket Man" and "Hey Mr. Tambourine Man"

  • I think it sucks more that it wasn't her OWN kid. You know? Horrible anyway :(

  • DENNY CRANE!!!

  • When my 12 year old son was 3, my grandma was babysitting him and accidentally spilled hot milk down his face that she had just removed from the microwave. I met her at the hospital and I cried when I saw my baby's face. He had strep throat at the time and was taking antibiotics for it. His burns cleared up so fast and so well that there's no way to tell, now, that his face was ever burned!

  • Very lucky!

  • How lucky is he?? My mother used to mind my baby daughter while I was at work. I remember she would do things like pass hot coffee over the top of the pram to guests etc and wouldnt listen when I mentioned it was dangerous. Used to make me so ANGRY. I was a nervous wreck at work. Luckily nothing ever happened but that was more good luck than good management. Most of the time accidents could have so easily been avoided. xoxo

  • I understand completely. My grandmother is very cautious and safe, but, at that age, my son was ALWAYS underfoot. If you walked around, he was right behind you. She turned around from getting it out of the microwave and stumbled over him because he was right on her heels. I don't blame her, I know she was always very careful and she felt awful for it.

  • I used to have a nanny who was foreign. Apparently, she didn't realize that certain situations, and objects, can be dangerous. She would start the car in the garage with the garage doors closed. When I told her how dangerous that was and what could happen, she was clueless and shocked. She took my 3 year old out shopping in the 40 degree weather without a coat.

  • My son (the 3 yr old) never walks anywhere in the house, he's always running. She sent him into my room while I was asleep to get some SCISSORS! I blew up at her for that one. I work at night and sleep during the day, but imagine how well I slept when he was in her care, even though I was just in the next room. I finally put him in daycare, even though I hated to, because I felt like that was the safer alternative.

  • Those tacos looked tasty though!

  • way to think of the real problem!

  • thats not funny

  • POOR EJ!

  • running near plugs can slip them out and spill things on you

  • Can you burn these to DVD's For me???
