If you were really a cook, you'd know that a recipe is something that is to be followed, but also have the flexibility to become something unique to each person's liking. As Guy states, he brought Mexican back to Jersey and applied his own twist. I hate people that say "I'm from 'Country' and that's NOT how we do it!" Give me a break.
@15bywindys Yeah, and I've been to Mexico. Their take on typical American dishes is not how we do it either but you don't see me whining about it. Of course every culture is going to put their own spin on foreign dishes that are brought in.

Im from Mexico and I am a cook;all this comments is from people that they dont know anything about food and specially about mexican food.
I was in that place (10th ave. burrito) and I was very disapointed with the food,was HORRIBLE.
