Anyone that experienced it themselves would agree. It's certainly it's own subculture, and I'm proud to have been a part of it in the late 80's/early 90's. I'd comb the beach for shells early, sell them at shops, then have bread for food/rides/games all day. Hook up with some shorty, break up with her before the night was over, rinse/repeat each day. I didn't realize it then, but they were the best times of my life. I couldn't have asked for a better childhood.

I love Wild Wood thank god I live only an hour away, Oh anybody ever notice that theres alot of chinese people working the rides down there lol no offense because I really liked the one chinese girl at the water park where when you go down the tubes and the life guard guides your tube down the next slide. My family and friends always stay at the Adventurer hotel in one of those joint rooms, I love Wild Wood its an oasis for everybody, when I go down with friends and family, I never get not happy

i spent summer 2002 in Wildwood, miss it so much! For those who are going to wildwood (we are talkin abt next summer already): you must go and see lighthouse and the garden! at night! Great place for a romantic date and very quiet too ;-).. Also Bonelli's hoagies are the best! Bonnelli's market is somewhere around Spicer and Spenser avenue. Also foam paries at Nile's, unhygienic but so much fun! and please let me know if all of these things are still there!

Guys, i would love to share your lovely memories from this place. I 've spent 4 months in Wildwood, summer '06 working in Morey's Piers (u have no idea how they treated us! baaad), then in Daytona Motel (perfect people, perfect place), it was a summer to learn more about life and people for me.. but i remember also nice moment.. Michael's disco and ocean during the night.. i would like to come back there once.. it would be nostalgic a little.. :-)At least i know i will never forget this summer.
