  • My grandfather is the one who built it.

  • this better be someone from the schwarz/piersol family because my grandfather built this! people are trying to take credit for something they didn't even do!

  • im (travis wise) the one who restored it. without his help, i wouldn't of gotn anywhere. Its the media trying to give me all the credit for doing it when he helped me with it and i want to thank him for that

  • Don't sell yourself short, Travis. It takes leadership to coordinate a project and motivate people to help. In the process, you honored and respected the original designer and builder(s). The whole community appreciates your efforts.

  • YES Melissa I AM from your family!!! Im your cousin that lives in ohio!

  • What a wonderful project to tackle. I love to see iconic local landmarks restored. That barrel is a true piece of Americana. Good job!

  • I wondered what happened to the barrel. It had been sitting at a house near the trail parking lot. I noticed recently while walking on the trail that it was gone.
