  • whats the name of the song between rock n roll and black dog ? thank you !

  • It was a pile of shit then, and it is a pile of shit now.

  • When giants walked the earth

  • 4;39 DIGGG INNNN

  • poplex222 I think its called Bron-Yr-Aur from the physical graffiti album but I may be wrong.

  • Jimmy Page is the most awesome guitarist in the world to me, and this is one of my most favorite vids/movies/performances he and Led Zeppelin ever did, period. Amazing!

  • whats the name of the acoustic part before the show stars?

  • @poplex222 If you mean the acoustic song you hear while riding in a car, this is called''Bron-Yr-Aur.''And indeed, there is another called''Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp,''so you want is the first I said, if it helps, this song appears on the album''Physical Graffiti''

  • @WenaxBkn310

    tha ha nx!! so helpful

  • Jimmy Pge has a strange gait.

  • @miss19lolo i had to look this video up to confirm what, in my memory, was a strange gait. funny you said the same thing.

  • whats the name of the instrumental guitar ? ( minute 1:25-2:25)

  • @MyTeibol born in aur

  • For AshyLegsTV - that riff heard was for song "Bring it on Home". A tricky start for the song BLACK DOG that follows. No sweat! Glad to be of help.

  • Whats the name of the song at 6:37

  • Thank you.

  • Ah, YouTube 240p quality...

  • Back in the 70's, you knew Zeppelin was in town when there's a police escort.

  • All 110 pounds of pure fury Moby Dick ! they are better here than in SF were I was at the concert in Kezar stadium. They were late and they played pretty good; here was off the chart; still trying to learn those backbeats and triplets Bonzo used.

  • 0:00 walking out of the plane after a fat bong rip, probably very true

  • Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd are the best bands ever.

  • @Adennos Soooooooooooooooooooooooo True

  • these guys are the reason theres rock!!!

  • @bustballz The BEST live band ever.......stfu, you don't get the magic of Led Zeppelin. They were great.

  • @bustballz Thats up there in the dork meter

  • @bustballz no one falls asleep during that kind of earthquake.

  • i love how it took Robert Plant's voice less than a minute to warm up.

  • Besides Bohnam, are all the zeppelin members alive?

  • @memimer yes

  • @memimer Yeah everyone

  • @memimer yup

  • ...Black Dog is the best guitar riff in the world since the first musical note was made.

  • I bet A SHIT LOAD OF GURLS HAD TO CHANGE THEIR PANTIES AFTER SEEING ROBERT PLANT ON STAGE!!! PLUS JIMMY OH MAN. (Yes i just sounded like a fan gurl but u gotta admit them 2 were HOT. And THe Music Was Even Hotter!! :D

  • its funny seeing roy harper in the red jacket with them and his larking about with robert plant on and off stage, that still goes on fairly recently. I saw roy about a week after this tour at a strangely atmospheric open air concert in london and he was recounting some stories from the tour

  • from 6:19-6:29 Did Bonzo find out that his drum kit owes him money the way he bashes that thing, lol?

  • @archonticpower that was incredibly tasteless and cruel

  • just realized the next part doesn't have this issue, go figure

  • great concert, but the sound mix is terrible, everything but the voice in overly compressed

  • man im glad im not the only teenager that likes classic rock

  • 6:35 , best improvised riff/intro to black dog ever...

  • @BlayMed : For you and anyone else out there, the "improvised riff/intro to black dog" is actually the main riff to a lesser known (but fucking awesome) zeppelin tune called "Bring it on Home." Check out the live version at Royal Albert Hall. Perhaps people could thumbs this up so anyone who's curious can know?

  • @GuitarGreek006 Yeah you're right on about that. Amazing live performances by these guys no doubt.

  • @GuitarGreek006 who needs to improvise? I already know it X3

  • Tú dices Lady Gaga, digo Nirvana.

Tu dices Hannah Montana, digo Metallica.

Tu dices Owl City, digo Pink Floyd.

Tu dices Jonas Brothers, digo Led Zeppelin.

Tu dices Justin Bieber, digo Deep purple .

Tu dices Taylor Swift, digo Guns & Roses.

  • You say Lady Gaga, I say Nirvana.

You say Hannah Montana, I say Metallica.

You say Owl City, I say Pink Floyd.

You say Jonas Brothers, I say Led Zeppelin.

You say Justin Bieber, I say Deep purple.

You say Taylor Swift, I say Guns & Roses.

95% of teens these days listen to the same crappy pop over and over again. If you're one of the 5% who still listens to real music, thumb this up, then copy and paste it to at least five videos. Don't let the spirit of rock and roll die

  • 2 people are jimmy pages B++ches

  • i just want to turn up my amp as loud as it will go (to 11) and play some zeppelin

  • @hemisk1378 Oh, i love to "go to 11" (as nigel said). From one Tap Head to another!!! Peace to you! Rock and roll will never die,as long as WE are alive....amen. Luv,littlequeen Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

  • 6:37 Transition riff!! FUCKEN EPIC!!!!!! ROCK N ROLL!!!!!!!!

  • mio dio ke bello l'assolo alla fine di rock n' roll di john bohnam! vi amo led zeppelin!!! <3 <3 <3

  • QUISIERA SABER COMO SE LLAMA LA PRIMERA CANCION QUE APARACE EN ESTE VIDEO, ES CUANDO JUSTAMENTE ANTES DE QUE EMPIZE LA CANCION DE Rock and Roll CUANDO ELLOS VAN EN EL CARRO Y SE OYE UNA CANCION DE FONDO,

  • @marycarmeniturbe BRON-YR-AUR Esa es la cancion que se escucha de fondo :D ¡¡¡Buenisima!!!

  • look at all those old cars, i would like to have some of those

  • Not trying to jinx it, but this vid has over 58,000 views and no dislikes. That's pretty cool.

  • @diplomatiks not any more

  • whats the song at 1:25?? please answer

  • @CLONETROOPER1313 Bron y aur from Physical Graffiti

  • Jimmy's cough

    oh my goddddddddddddd

  • Police escort! nice!

  • This is awesome

  • THE GODS ETERNAL OF ROCK!

  • Why'd you turn the pitch up a half step? It makes Robert Plant sound like he's on helium..

  • robert is so fucking awsome!!!!!!

  • existe en Los reyes Ixtacala, Tlalnepantla un guitarrista amigo mio, identico a jimmy page, su nombre es Ulises de la torre y es el mejor despues de page, su parecido fisico y virtuoso es muy similar........saludos desde mexico

  • god damn

  • 4:37 Jimmy about to do what he does best....solo! Fuck yeah!!! Clapton my ass....PAGE IS GOD!!!!!!!!!!! (I like Clapton too though)! lol

  • Stop f@@@ing complaining and just enjoy the music. If you don't like it then find something else. It's not rocket science folks.

  • They focus on plant too much, we wanna see jimmy shred!

  • 1:17 out of the Tubes and into Pittsburgh! theyre almost at msg :P lol

  • @ticktocktorrez the song is called bring it on home, from led zeppelin 2

  • @mvmg42 Thanks! I just found that out today, too. I know I'd heard the song before but I couldn't remember where.

  • That riff that they play before they bust into the intro for Black Dog? Is that a song or just a riff? I've heard it so many times in Zeppelin videos but I can't get a name of it!

  • I believe its only a transitional riff that was later transformed to a song! Fucken rocks!!!!! Dadadada du di dadadidudu!!! lol

  • they didnt duplicate their sound dickhead because they chose not to, im sure if they wanted to they could , why hate on zep are u a loser?

  • This band gave showed us what a boring on stage was all about. The only good thing about their live performances was the creation of punk. This is exactly the kind of band te punkers hated and for damned good reason.

  • @johntheyank88 Led Zeppelin didn't need to try to put on such a huge stage presence to entertain their audience, they did so by going up on stage and having a hell of a time just jamming out, which is why of course they wouldn't re-create their studio work on stage, why would they?

That's funny. In my opinion Led Zeppelin had more talent and creativity than most (if not all) punk bands out there. Let the punkers keep listening to their shitty music, I'll keep listening to my Led Zeppelin.

  • @TickTockTorrez

I think punkers are creative in their own way just like Led Zeppelin has their own creativity. I'm a Led Zeppelin fan since I was 7 years old BTW

  • @johntheyank88 i was going to come up with a witty response but tbh im too drunk right now so just blow it out your ass!

  • @johntheyank88 I have to agree with the other commenters. This movie and concert were pure magic. It's as though The Force, itself, took over Page's soul that night. No other time have I heard him play that well. How the West was Won was mediocre in comparison.

  • @london2z half of the show is overdubbed ...

  • Mercyless fucken drumming by bonham!!!! Epic!!! : 0

  • You had to be blitzed out of your head to sit through a couple hours of this garbage. Led Zeppelin could not duplicate their sound worth a fuck.

  • u critisize zeppelin, U must blitzed outa ur head, mudda fucker!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @johntheyank88I disagree. I think they duplicated it quite well in the "how the west was won" live album. Hell, I think they even surpassed the album versions in may of their earlier concerts.

  • As the proud *NEW owner of a 2006 pre-owned Cadillac STS, I'm as flattered as The Zep must've been that ONLY CADILLAC was fit to transport Rock Royalty! Those big black Caddys were pretty bad-ass and I love how they were police escorted, on road shoulders if need be, to this EPIC gig. I just LOVE the whole aura of this film. Ummm, yeah. They WERE that big of a deal, thank you kindly ...

  • I liked 0:00 to 9:53

  • @MyTvification haha =D me 2

  • fuck off!

  • what happened to celebration day?

  • i like the 6:30-6:55 part

  • 8:10 AAaaaa- ahhhh

  • Bona Fide Super Group

  • 6:20 just soooooooooo awesome

  • john paul jones, he always looks depressed. never smiling, never having fun. he seems like the outcast of the group.

  • HERES HOW BIG AND GREAT THE LED ZEPPELIN IS: THEY WERE ESCORTED IN A LIMOSINE MOTORCADE BY POLICE WITH LIGHTS AND SIRENS ON.....WHERE AND WHEN DO/DID YOU EVER SEE THAT! NOT TOO OFTEN, AND PROBABLY NOT TODAY....

  • gotta love that bring it on home intro to black dog!!

  • They should have left out certain parts such as the mob rub out scene and peter grant complaining about somebody selling posters; to leave room for more songs, plus I didn't like it when they started to play bring it on home and then switched over to black dog, dont get men wrong this film was ok but could have been better, plus I read somewhere that the band weren't too impressed with it either.

  • @RmFrRifleman If you were a member of led zeppelin you wouldn't be impressed by anything either

  • @RmFrRifleman all i hear is led zeppelin are the best. the whole "theres something wrong, it couldve been better" part of your comment just doesnt make any sense...im trying, but.....i dont see it ;)

  • when was the proformance?

  • @jimmiwannabe 1973

  • @jimmiwannabe This performance was in 1973, Madison Square Garden. This film is a compilation of 3 days concerts

  • There were others before...and there were others after, but Led Zeppelin defined the art of rock and roll and the live concert experience. After John Henry Bonham's tragic death they stayed true to their word and the Zep never flew again but their music still rules the air waves!

  • so...uhmm...

    yeahh.

im pretty sure that I shoulda been there.

    :(((

with all this other stupid shit gettin invented, is there any legit reason tht someone hasnt invented time travel?

    cuz, they should. (:

  • i love the original version of the song off the unremastered film. (this version)

  • 4:15 plant, no tooth hahaha

  • Is it playing slightly faster then normal? I know that this also isn't the remastered version they released in 2007. Holy crap that one sounds so much better. You can hear everything clearly.

  • @beau96080 slightly they just did a bump of coke there fyling

  • For a beloved family member

  • Love watching this. I was at MSG! Best years for music IMO.

  • @MCLOVIN50 its part of bring it on home, then it jumps into black dog

  • song at 6:36??

  • black dog ;)

  • @MCLOVIN50 The guitar is bring it on home but the song after is black dog

  • @MCLOVIN50 lol thats what i just wondering. ive been loking all over youtube for it and i cant find it.

  • Jam Band

  • i saw this film, when i was 14, on a date with a guy that looked like.Randy Rhodes..lol there was about 4 people in the cinema, but it was good..great memories, still LZs music gets me.. its an experience.. in itsself..

  • @foreverashcroft I saw this when i was 13 they played it at midnight in a movie theater. It was one the best experiences of my life. Thanks to my older sister and brother i grew up listening to what they listened to and at 12 i read Hammer of the gods and after seeing this movie i was obsessed.

  • so cool how they go from rock and roll/bring it on home/black dog

  • when they do the transition from rock and roll to bring it on home, it's edited in the studio, that's not exactly what they did in the concert.

  • I see Jimi still jammin and groovin to led zeppelin

  • wow that looks alot like jimi hendrix...haha kids and their "jimmy" hendrix

  • 5:19 - Greatest Vocals EVER

  • 2:46 so epic

  • theycallmenavid:

Yes, it is. So is the police escort. You don't see today's bands getting these escorts. But seriously, the audience was probably surprised.

  • thats because todays so called"bands" dont deserve it, these 4 men are gods, and most certainly deserved it

  • well first of all u cant call jimmy page a god he stole alot of his music, do ur research kid. no doubt they are one of the greatest bands ever any genre but lets be realistic here

  • im 17, so i guess im a kid, but whatever man, i really dont care if he "stole" music, the man is brilliant with a guitar

  • @wifebeater77777 the most stolen songs(lyrics most of the time)were on their first two albums.that's it .all the bands of 60s-80s stole songs.

  • @theycallmenavid 6:18 is epic-er

  • where is jimmy hendrix?????????????????

  • ITS HENDRIX!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • It's good that on Black Dog JPJ's amazing bass line is more pronounced.

  • The cloud at 1:45, between the two corners of the buildings, is that Jimmy Hendrix?

  • Its the ghost of jimmi hendrix, HOLY SHIT!!!!, lol

  • i dont see any jimi hendrix cloud at 1:45 as this guy has pointed out =(

  • raw....when rock was young

  • Rock is young, Music is young. It always will be.

  • @lovezitface foe shoe

  • What a great comment!

  • LED ZEPPELIN

  • it sounds like napolean dynamite

  • from 6:17 to 6:54 gives me thrills ...man jimmy knows how to change a song

  • bring it on home is my favorite led zep song

  • naw -its celebration day-they cut it from the film but not album-was on youtube off newly released dvd-still might be- tryin to find it

  • Its a certain section from the song "Bring it on home"

  • It's Called "Bron-Yr-Aur" off of "Led Zeppelin III".

  • its on physical graffiti

  • Sorry my bad, i got it mixed up with Bron-yr-Aur Stomp :S

  • i know you've already told me, lol

  • Comment removed

  • its off physical graffiti

  • Comment removed

  • Don't know how Page can stand to have his guitar slung so incredibly low - doesn't seem to hold him back, though! He plays it hunched over and lower than any guitarist I've ever seen. Jim's just a genius at coming up with off-beat riffs and odd time signatures.

  • ? 4 zep fans... what were the only years they never played live?

    i'm thinking 1974 & 1978......no? yes? please respond. . . .

  • Just 1978, when Robert Plant's son died and most of 1979.

  • 1973 this film was made

  • 0:01 to 0:05 Poor Jimmy choking his brains out. Got off the plane and got a good whiff of New Jersey.

  • The English drive on the left remember...

  • ok, once they start playing, it makes all that other crap you have to sit though worth it.

  • Bring it on home riff to black dog? nice

  • haha agreed
