Fret not Ozzies. There is a rumour (Barbara Charone) that she will play Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan and India before finshing in South Africa (or possibly Dubai) in January / Feb. Warner Bros are releasing a huge 'Best of' collection at the end of the year, and this will be part of it's global promotion.

Oh wow memories. My friend and I caught the bus up from Canberra (I was 16 years old and could not drive) and the SHOW WAS POSTPONED! We had to come back a few weeks later.

I remember both weekends we camped out in front of the Ritz Carlton in Double Bay, clamouring for autographs from her dancers, running after Madonna on her jogs to Bondi... oh goodness, how embarrassing now.  *blushes*

I'm in London, England and am very lucky to have seen Madonna Live but I do feel for the Aussie fans. Madonna has promised that she will tour Austraila next time so I think the Aussie fans deserve her when she tours in 2008. She owes the fans there so I think it would be great if her tour kicked off there.
