Pol Pot was another American atrocity. He was supported by the US & UK governments and after he was his followers were sheltered in accomodation furnished by the Red Cross, funded by the US and UK governments, until he became too much of an embarrassment. The US created him in exactly the same way as they created the Taliban and for much the same purposes.

US backed Gen Lon Nol against the Khmer Rouge until came to power in 1975 and in the 80's, the US backed the Khmer People's National Liberation Front of former prime minister Son Sann and the pro-Sihanouk ANS. Red Cross if I remember rightly is neutral, no country or state control the Red Cross.

He was supported by the US & UK governments and after he was his followers were sheltered in accomodation furnished by the Red Cross, funded by the US and UK governments, until he became too much of an embarrassment. US backed Gen Lon Nol against the Khmer Rouge until came to power in 1975 and in the 80's, the US backed the Khmer People's National Liberation Front of former prime minister Son Sann and the pro-Sihanouk ANS. Red Cross if I remember rightly is neutral, no country or state control the Red Cross.

There were smaller killing fields in Vietnam too after the VN war ended. They were called "re-education camps."
