Chermerneko Great! Great! Marvellous! Bravíssimo, Lindo, Lindo! I never seen a thing beautiful like this. In order to see what our brothers of the world are doing with this marvellous instrument (the accordion), if you want, search for to see in Argentina: CHANGO SPASIUK EN FORMOSA KILOMETRO 11. Also in Brazil, search for: Tio Mederico Sempre Gaúchos. Also search for Voninho e Marcelo.
I found an interesting vídeo where brazilian accordianist make a accordion contest. If want to see look for Voninho e Marcelo no google vídeos ou youtube. Their accordion has a very different and interesting rithm. Also interesting: encontro de sanfoneiro ( canto da ema) toninho ferregutti (music from the northweast region of Brazil). Other interestin: CARLITO BADUI E TAQUIN FÃ GERALDO.
Great playing. I must say though, the sound of that XM800 is not what I was expecting. I though it would have a better set of sounds. My Roland RA-90 sounds much better. Good job nonetheless!! CHEERS!!
I learned this tune at the Polka Fest in LV and figured out the correct name after I posted the video and was too lazy to change it. You are quite right, the name is Newberry Polka.
Haha, uhm. Nice (: Your accordion must have cost a lot. I'm wondering how much ? I would like to buy one myself (: I got a Hohner Verdi with 120 basses atm.
me da asco como tocas ..a.fina tu piano eres un estupido que no sabe tocar piano mejor de dicate a otra cosa idiota ... si no sabes tocar mejor ni pongas videos
You asked about sheet music for Mayberry Polka. I learned it from a recorded tape so don't have the music. If you play by ear (as well as by notes) you should be able to learn it from my video. Good luck.
I remember cordovox know a few peeps who play them today and they all have troble with them from time to time with the electronics parts and very costly to repair, plus all the heavy stuff you have to carrie when playing a gig, sound good when there working right but i would never invest in 1.
Just for informations sake, cordovox were making electronic accordions over 30 years ago. The reeds were very poor however. Crucianelli were the next ones ( in the UK anyway ) and they were known as the poor mans cordovox. A cordovox 30 years ago cost around £4000. More than most cars then.
Superb! Keep posting more videos, we love them.

The correct title is Newberry Polka, written by Bob Timko, formerly of Cleveland, Oh

Cordovox! Down memory lane again. You're right on the timescale - my accordion teacher used one of those in his band in the 70s.

They were fantastic instruments no doubting that.

omg, that's a crazy accordion! I bet it costed a fortune!
bachkicksass83 4 years ago
that is some expensive accordeon. Doesn't even look like he is pumping enough air
snowonweb 4 years ago
yeah it's a midi accordion, so you can get different sounds out of it, rather then just a traditional sound
kitt321 4 years ago
that dosen"t sound like a tradionial accordion,
