I too had this problem with the time delay of movement. It's because the accelerometer is really jumpy, so you read in several readings and average them. Hopefully with the motion plus this kind of thing will be made much easier for devs ^^

Actually, yes it is. That's why the new Wii Motion PLus Accessory was released to fix this lag.

Project natal is good, but it's still not out yet, so, it's hard to say how it really works.

I own both a wii and a 360, so, it doesn't matter to me which on works better...lol

Looks great, but as far as star wars goes, I think just the wiimote in addition to the motionplus addon coming out will be far more promising for a lightsaber simulation. Just too much lag with this motion capture stuff

Completly useless imo with such lag. Even the worst TFT input lag is a joke against that kind of lag, and even low TFT input lag is driving me nuts already.

Yeah, the technology has such a delay that nobody could use it for regular games. Maybe for motion capture where lag doesn't matter. It isn't all that hot anyway, it has accuracy problems. Meh.

Very cool demos so far...but...

You should think about listing this as a concept instead of a planned product for now. People has less patience these days for tech that they are 'dealing with' instead of 'working with,' and this looks like the former.

Unless we see marked improvement on lag and a more robust set of features (like recording your own gestures, adjusting sensitivity, and a sleek management console) this product won't take off.

I'm excited, but wary :/
