  • fucking amazing ..poor girl....beutiful

  • Saw this on The Great American Songbook on BBC4 and it blew me away

  • simply beautiful

  • Sometimes when I see how few some of these classic postings have, I despair - but then it makes me think of how lucky we few are to have them. Brings back the feeling of the festive season and Kirsty's passing, 95 was the first NYE my wife and I stayed in together and weve hardly missed a Hootenay since. Would think that Cole Porter himself (who lived to a ripe old age) would weep if he knew the story of this woman and could have been alive to witness this performance. God bless you gal,

  • Lovely poignant performance. I get a bit maudlin on New Years Eve so suits me down to the ground

  • My favourite female singer, by a long, long way

  • absolutely!!! rip Kirsty

  • @villagorilla mine too, along with Alison Moyet

  • That was pretty surreal, but check out her version with the Pogues and Just One of Those Things. More humour, more in line with Porter's campy point of view.

  • I love Kirsty's version of this song

  • Thank you.

Kirsty, in my opinion, did not receive enough recognition.

    5*****.

  • Thank you for this, I've never seen Kirsty sing this particular version before,(FYI her last name is MacColl not Macoll.)
