  • Howard's the most divisive, bigotted, arrogant fuckwit to have ever been Prime Minister of Australia. Thank God we got rid of him when he wanted to fuck workers over with his Workchoices. He turned Australia from "us" to "us and them". He's quoted as saying "when you change the government, you change the country". Well he sure did when this prick became Prime Minister. He ruined the place while riding high on Keating's successful economic reforms.

  • I miss John howard this country has gone down the tube since.

  • Wow, Obama's aged at least fifteen years since he took office. Poor fellow.

  • LMFAO Americans telling other countries to butt out of their business lol lol lol lol

  • I'm Australian and Obama was right. If Howard wanted to open his mouth about the Democrats he should have backed up his resolve with a larger contribution. Howard's just a befuddled little man who thinks it's still 1965.

  • Osama Obama has always been...and will always be...an empty suit. He's just a "community organizer" ...nothing more, nothing less.

  • "Vice President Cheney is heading to Australia later this month to try and help." LOL!!!

  • obama hates cameron and cameron hates him.

  • @hurro67 Cameron sucks!!!

  • Oh please. Obama is trying to pull back American troops and asking Aussies to send more!!! Bett he feels like a fucktard now!

  • @nessahambrinkon

He was making a statement about Howard's hypocrisy.

  • LMAO we dont have 20,000 soliders

  • If it's true that Obama wanted to pull out before 2009, then Howard's comment was justified. Although, here we are in late 2010, so who knows?

  • making a statement like that is really stupid and possibly damaging to american/australian relations thank god he didn't win i doubt obama would have been enthusiastic in dealing with australia.

  • LOLOLOLOL oh like clockwork.

(wait for the bite, waaaaait for it)

  • HAHA poor lost puppy looking for friends. Keep following puppy dog.....or is that baby ape? HAHA

(Get ready to watch the troller bite...hard)

  • LOL pip bit at that one as i correctly predicted via pm. Wind him up and watch him go hahaha

  • RockyBalboa211 you are so right!!

Obama is the Demon from Hell!! But American's are FINALLY starting to Wake Up!!

I am praying Peter Costello will return to the LNP as leader and hopefully equal the Great John Howard's time in leadership of this great country!!

  • Thankfully Eyebrows didn't get re-elected.

  • @TheJasenator yes we got a bigger fool instead

  • "Obama has called for U.S. troops to leave Iraq by March 2008" ... that went well then, didn't it.

  • Son. Ron Wyden, what the fuck? Make judgements in your own country, what about the fact that America sticks its nose in every chance it gets....

  • @theskitzoestcunt

You're a moron and dickhead mate. Obama bringing in universal healthcare would be "action". Going to war so your corporate parasite mates can steal billions from the taxpayer through unecessary and over priced arms and logistics is not. $300 per dunny seat is what yanks paid during the mass murder of Iraqi constripts and patriots. You sir, are a fool. You should think or get informed before openning your fat ignorant mouth. Now fuck off back to ure funnyfarm n screw ya sista.

  • Obama is a joke, just like Australia's current PM Kevin Rudd, all talk and no action. Words centered around creating emotion rather than based on facts.

  • Excuse me telling Australians to butt out? Yeah yet Americans love to butt into other countries. Sending more troops is false. The US defense has the weapons to end it. Vote for Allen West next election in the states, he has the tactics and will end the iraq war. he is very intelligent.

  • Monbulk, please get a life, they are on sale today for less then $50. Pipty I don't think Howard, Cheney and Bush should be shot, the responsibility really rests on the extreme capitalists who voted for them. Bennyboy are you being sarcastic or something?

  • cheney. howard and bush should be shot....immoral human filth!

  • @pipty11 but you can't like obama pip- you're a racist,

PM me if you want to see pipty11's racist comments. What immoral human filth he is LOL

  • "Vice President Cheney is heading to Australia later this month to try and help." That's the funniest thing I've heard all week!

  • haha all you cunts have too much time on ur hands, bitch and moan all you want about politics, it wont get you anywhere

  • ye exactly but the thing is your australian

and australians dont give a fuck about complicated things . trust me i know. thats why this cunt was in so long

  • I have noticed as time has gone on, people that speak negatively of howard are now getting thumbs down...looks like Labor is finally in trouble. The thing is, no matter which side of politics is in power, it's good to put lots of pressure on the government, it's the only way we can know that we will wake up in the morning with electricity.

  • I could tell you what a cockhead John Howard is, but this will tell you more than I can: he lost the 2007 Federal election bigtime and he become only the second Australian Prime Minister in history to lose his own seat in parliament. Australia finally woke up to his bullshit. Obama's got brown skin, that's probably why Howard didn't like him. Howard's a bigot. Don't believe me? Google Howard and racism. Australia is seen as a racist country thanks to Howard.

  • the background to your knowledge is so poor i can't be fucked to debate. you are the most ungreatful person to not respect John Howard and the amazing work he achieved

  • if that scum aussie fag was still in power, President Obama would humiliate him and kick his ass.

Joh howard is nothing but a dog...he was Bush's puppy, and he paid a price that he would never forget for the rest of his pathetic life :D

  • I'm so glad Kevin Rudd is our prime minister now

  • Me to, i love paying 52 billion dollar debt!! but i just love paying taxes, my money, on CUNTS IN NSW THAT SHOULD BE SHOT OR PUT IN JAIL

  • john howard brought the GST..we pay tax 10% tax across the board thanks to him...

  • look at this krudd fuck witt now. i forgot it's 5 billion debt!!! Oh sorry 96 billion? Nup! 150 billion debt... in the frist year! but i would love to pay that off because thats nothing compared to the 10% GST witch will soon go up like sperm! why are people like you so thick?

  • "witch will soon go up like sperm!"..

    ???

    Grow up little boy

  • @LeeOU812 - GST replaced the 1930's Wholesale Sales Tax (WST). Products always had a tax. It was unfair for Product's to be taxed, and not services. Not a big change...

  • are you telling me that the price of everyday goods and services has remained the same since the GST has been brought in?

  • @LeeOU812 goods yes, services went up a little :)

  • sorry i don't agree

  • @LeeOU812 no probs. Howard did pretty well imo :)

  • oh hi Catholic boy forgive my manner but I'm just pissed off that just because I didn't get enough working hours I missed out on a stimulus package like every other person got

  • Kevin Rudd is sending the country deep into deficit, which isn't a nice thing to do, they might have rolled back WorkChoices, but I don't seem them as being as responsible with the economy.

  • Howard himself said that he does not blame the ALP for the current economic downturn, as the world economic crisis impacted Australia in a way that is beyond the control of economic planners.

Howard's surplus had nothing to do with good management, but he fact that when he was in office there was a demand for Australian minerals from China.

Anyone who has studied basic economics would tell you that a deficit is not bad in itself, especially when we are in a period of economic downturn.

  • well as the labor governments in nsw and qld have shown you can be getting more money than ever before from the resource boom but still be billions of dollars in debt.

going into a downturn with a deficit, which australia did not unlike all the other western nations is very bad for the economy, and if the deficit is not paid off by the government than the debt will bring inflation up which is bad.

  • @Catholicboy4life Yeah and as I remember there are Trade offs. If you keep money in the bank and refrain from spending in good economic times and allow private business to flourish you're setting yourself up for a 'save' in an economic downturn. Sure it's not the fault of the ALP. Similarly you can't say that Canada or the US haven't benefited from Chinese economic growth. Their consumer market is now #1. Preparing for an economic downturn is good management, the money was there.

  • Considering that you are so opposed to the idea of a deficit, tell me what other plan you have to maintain healthy levels of demand during the global economic downturn?

You are aware that Say's law of markets has been discredited by all mainstream schools of economics? (Except perhaps for the extreme loonys on the far right at the Misses institute)

  • HERE IS A WAKE UP CALL: Supply and demand does not "naturally" reach an equilibrium if left to itself! If economic history has thought us anything it is that the market is much more complex than Say's simplistic model. Capitalism is a system of boom and bust cycles, as productive forces have to adjust to phenomena such as artificial value, falling profit rates caused by rises in constant capital investments, overproduction and supply getting above demand, etc.

  • Damian, fuk off out off Australia u cunt!!Kevin is the best PM we have eva had and as for you Stephen1985,he got rid of the guns so he wouldn't get assasinated for all the bullshit you gutless cunts ever believed that came out of his evil mouth.

  • We didn't vote Howard out because of the War in Iraq, we voted him out because he was trying to take away all our rights at work.

  • yeah i agree with that

  • @Stephen19852009 This. Howard will be remembered for the economy and WorkChoices. Not the Iraq war, not about not saying sorry and certainly not about "boat people" no matter how persistently the ABC labours the point.

  • i luv obama :) heheh and im aussie

  • John Howard is one of the greatest political leaders to ever live, god bless him!!

  • @RockyBalboa211 LOL You've got to be joking.

  • @RockyBalboa211 Bahahahaha FUCK YOU

  • The way I see it, Howard got rid of so many guns in Australia making it a much safer place, so I would never accuse him of being a terrorist. I lost a family member to a gun death, so his tough stance on gun control was a really great thing. However, I don't agree with what he said about Obama, if Americans think badly of us for that, I would ask them to watch a video on youtube of how Kevin Rudd while in opposition fired back at Howard over what he said in here.

  • I hated John Howard but now looking back i think he is better than the clown we have now the Fake and lying Kevin Rudd

  • fuck off you numb skull get a life you worthless fucking git

  • Oooooooo....

thats insulting...you really shock the pillars of heaven with that insult..

by the way you still have that primate look about you

  • hmmm iunno, there's nothing worse than Howard, he was ok to begin with (1996-2000) what with the gun laws etc but from then on with the War and the Workplace Relations (which i think cost him the election). I cannot like him as i lost my job under those laws. i find him a pompous racist conservative idiot who merely licked the shoes of Bush. Rudd is a much better Prime Minister especially with the debacle the Liberal Party left Australia in

  • i agree..

  • JOhn HOward is one of the biggest cunts on earth...he's the worst Prime Minister this country has ever had....he rode the waves of the previous governments economic deregulation, and showed nothing but contempt for Government (just like Bush). What a prick. Rudd is a prick as well...If I ever see HOward on the street, I will vomit on him as he makes me so sick..pompous arrogant, little man. A gutless little piece of shit

  • John Howard= great man. Understands the world. If you Aussies don't appreciate him then send him to USA we will tgladly ake him in.

Both countries need many more men like John Howard. I don't know about Austrialian domestic politics. I don't have the time to follow domestic politics worldwide. But on international politics John Howard is the man I like most from the leaders I've seen.

  • John Howard is one of the most dispicable people to have ever entered into Australian politics. A proven & deliberate liar , xenophobic bigot with a history of gross human rights abuses be dares to open his mouth today. I hope that in 20 years time people will come to realise what a truly dispicable and revolting creature he really is.

  • im an Aussie and is John Howard like a racist fuck or something?

  • they didnt show the whole clip

he aint saying that because of obama's background

but rather because he was talking about withdrawing troops

howard is still a dick none the less

    and probably a racist

i mean he did support white australia for like a decade

  • Speak for yourself DeathDaDawg.

John Howard is perhaps the best prime minister this country has ever seen.

  • perhaps

he did give us our economic stability and all that

    but he's still a dick

  • john howard was a fuckwit. im australian everybody hates him here. this doesnt acurately represent australia at all

  • Too bad our leaders here in the U.S. don't talk about muslim hypocracy like Howard does.

  • Ignorance can be very dangerous.

  • Howard's behavior caused anger among democrats toward the country of Australia.A much closer election and if the republicans had enough brain cells between them to use Howard's fear mongering and maybe Howard's statement could have effected the American election.

  • I'm glad that several Australians detest Howard's actions.I don't think there has ever been a leader of a friendly nation that has tried to effect the out come of an election to an allied country.

  • This is so disappointing.I thought Australia and Australians were cool place and people.Guess not!

  • No no, believe me as an Australian I love Barak Obama and think he could be the best politician America and possibly the world has ever seen. I am not alone in thinking this. Don't worry about little Johnny, we was routed out of office in November 2007. He even lost his own seat - something that has only ever happened one other time in Australian political history. Hahaha how we laughed, and how the champagne did flow that night...

  • o no nobody can disagree with daddy o im a liberal not a groupie

  • Why is this arse-licking, country-destroying, fasict, racist, homophobic, American- wannabe prat even been given a second of thought, let alone television coverage? This afterall, was the Prime Minister eventually so hated that he lost his own seat!

  • lol love how the americans said aussie

    it was like "ossie"

  • yeah its pretty funny and different at the same time

  • You mean *former* Australian leader?

  • Obama is is just over 24 hrs away from becoming President.

Howard was ignominiously voted out. Who caresw what he thinks.

  • Bush just gave howard the highest civilian american honor the medal of freedom. That medal was also given to two other war crimes figures on the same day.Maybe Bush can join howard and the other medalist at the Haig during their war crime trails. With Obama running the White House he will bring honor back to washington.

  • last thing F**k you Obama. do your own dirty work. I thought you may be some good. If i was in America i would have been dumb enough too vote for you, as i didn't know about ron paul, as there was not much media covering it. all i saw was a choice of hillery and obama. hint to American people. 2013 elect someone that has less media coverage. because the next canadate that you see highlighted will be from the same illuminati box.

  • no prime minister or president is perfect. and there is no comparison between howard and bush. bush is the worst president in American and world history. good luck too the American people for voting Obama you are going too see more loved ones killed. more bloodshed than you ever did with bush. if you really wanted change you should have voted Ron Paul.

  • yeah, why should our love ones die, for american governments unjust couse. how about you bring our troops home as well as American, and bush, dick obama go fight their own oil battle. They don't give too craps about 91 eaither. they would of done something by now. They know damn well the people won't do anything to stop them, and know that we'll do their bidding. Howard was a great priminister of Australia.

  • We Americans should dump the no clue, anti American attitudes from Australia.Who needs Australia as a allie any way? If Howard and the people of Australia are our friends then who needs enemies.

  • In case you haven't noticed, John Howard was voted out as Prime Minister of Australia in 2007. Obviously you're keeping in the loop.

  • Why are we the tax payers paying for this A-Hole to stay in our country?!

  • Great question, GeneralGhost. The simple answer is that Australia's own tax payers have frequently paid for a multitude of American past and present arseholes to visit our country. For better or worse,it's only proper international etiquette to extend the hospitality both ways :o)

  • Howard better enjoy his stay at Blair House this month in Washington, D.C. because it will most likely be the last time he's invited to stay on the U.S. taxpayer's dime. I doubt PRESIDENT Obama will be inviting him any time soon. Prime Minister Ruud is welcome to come anytime!

  • Oh my god, bush has a twin! Yikes.

  • WTF? Howard wassn't even Pm when obama vs mcain election war was on! so what does his opinion matter anyway? from a aussie guy

  • It was a bad thing for Howard to say if you ask me, but Obamas' reply was insane "Send in another 20,000 troops". Our military is only 50,000 strong. That would be like sending 40% of our whole military to Iraq, furthermore, Our military is 50,000 strong, I am not sure how many foot soldiers there are out of that to send the extra 20,000.

If you scale the ratio up, it's like Howard saying "Why doesn't obama send in another 600,000 troops" or something.

  • What good is a good economy if the people of the country are suffering.

Howard never gave 2 shits about the working man.

He ensured thousands of people lost there jobs and houses by bringing in work choices.

I could list all of Howards criminal acts but there would be no point your brainwashed.

  • You ignorant uneducated fool.

Mr Whitlam was out best PM.

  • LOL you mean aside from the fact that he absolutely screwed up our economy up so badly that the country wanted him out so badly they gave the liberals the greatest majority that a party has ever achieved?

  • I wish I was around to experience Gough's golden years- proves true the saying 'we can't have too much of a good thing'.

  • For are the americans here, aussies arnt really that nosy its just our former pm was a dickhead and please dont let him ruin your view of aussies.

  • He was okay they both were. They have different kinds of ways at working the country. Rudd helps the people, Howard helps the country as a whole.

  • wow then you must really hate our last few labor pms because those were the real dickheads. the only thing they were good at are spending money and fucking the economy up.

  • Howards a joke and he got kicked out on his arse last year.

Howard is nothing more than a criminal.

  • howard is one of the best pm's weve ever had way better than rudd

  • Best pms ??????????

    LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

13 years of Howard for what?

Im better off under Rudd now than i ever was under Howard.

    Lower interest rates

    Lower petrol prices

    Family bonus!!

I could go on but whats the point your a brainwashed uneducated moron.

  • Ummm.....I don't think Rudd was responsible for the first two of those...it's not overly educated to attribute globally hinging factors like petrol prices or interest rates to a change in govt - they only came down courtesy of economic collapse.

But agreed Howard was not great. His achievements can be summed up as:

    i) gun control

ii) GST (necessary if you like it or not)

    iii)elimination of public debt.

Apart from that, most else was negative (esp. fourth term IR laws)

  • bullshit, so far rudd has done more good stuff then howard did in his time as pm

  • no howard did a far better job then any labor pm we have ever had. all labor has ever done is spend spend spend and fuck up the economy.

  • what was it that he did?

  • john howard?

he kept us out of the shit in the asian financial crisis and after 9/11

he kept interest rates far lower then under labor, he eliminated all government debt. thats one of the reasons why rudd has been able to address the financial crisis effectively - because howard left the budget in surplus. compare that to the 96 billion dollars debt he inherited from labor

  • he didn't keep us out of the financial crisis, we're NOT part of Asia, interest rates today are at the same level as when Howard came to power in 1996...last time I looked when the ALP was last in office there wasn't a 9/11...Howard never had a rate decrease in this decade.

govt debt is known across the world as a good thing...oh, and regarding the govt debt, it was paid down, not off, the rest of it is in govt bonds.

  • actually we're a lot more dependent on the asian market. you do realise how much impact china has on us?

furthermore interest rates were going up because the economy was so strong and people were spending lots. it was not going up because of reckless government spending which was driving up inflation. do you know how much inflation has gone up since the hawke government?

a law clerk when hawke came to power was getting paid $6000 a year. today they get paid about 40-50k

  • when the government borrows money and then spends that money, it passes through many different people's hands in different sectors of the economy, thereby stimulating it.

  • Well, Mr Howard, Bush will be joining you in couple of months. Maybe you two can suck each other off in preparation for your reserved spots in Hell. Obama would literally have to sell this country to Mexico to do any worse than W. Oh yeah, and for all you racist, bigots out there; you're out numbered.

  • Even though your comments aren't polite, but my raw emotions agreed with you!

  • Wow. two fucking idiots

  • why don't you just keep your thoughts to yourself buddy

  • same horse different jockey.

  • We voted John Howard out about two years ago. The main reason why George Bush and John Howard had so much in common was because both of their heads were filled with nothing but air. John Howard may have brought our ecenomy back up but he made so many decisions that would only benefit him and the Liberal Party. If only we had the same American law that a leader can only stay in for two terms, we had to put up with Howard's leadership for 11 years. I'm very glad that Barack Obama is now president.

It was about exactly 1 year ago

  • sorry, you're right it was two years ago. my bad

  • It was one year ago, November 24 2007.

  • I wonder what the rest of Australia thinks about Obama. Do they have the same opinion as this clown

  • No they dont - we voted him out

  • In Australia I watched Obama from the begining of his election run, during the campaign his speeches were inspirational & moving however since he has been elected I am not too confident about his ability to delivery in line with the expectation placed on him by Americans, people seem to view him as a kind of savior and any negative commentry spoken against him is struck down, I think people need to realise that as Barrak mentioned it could even take up to one term to fix some of the issues.

  • I agree

  • I disagree

  • Oh well John Howard isn't Prime Minnister of Australia anymore. WOW I almost forgot that John Howard was even Prime Minister of Australia! We voted his ass out of government/politics! Altho Kevin Rudd isn't any better!

  • Thank God Howard is gone!

  • The war crimes tribunal awaits you Johnny

  • 11 years of shit Howard

  • Australia is one of Americas most faithful ally's we fight along side them in vietnam and iraq wars that don't even effect us. I used to want obama to win, but now I don't he does not know what he is coming into and to lead his country. Atleast mc cain has respect for us because his familly lives in Australia

  • There are no words for the likes of you...only a long, deep sigh and a sad understanding on why Australia is going in the dimal direction it is.

  • Australia is heading a far better direction then America. Our economy is more stable then yours, your the country that put a bar in the cogs of society and say to me we are heading into a "dimal direction" (BTW dimal is not a word only if you did a typo and left out the "s") Obama is a spokes person with bad morals that posses himself like a hero, I have nothing against him just that his morals, understanding, beliefs and decisions may make the country

    more "dismal".

  • I am an Australian too, mate, so don't jump to conclusions. Thank you kindly for bothering to point out a typo I accidentally made. I agree there is much hype about Obama before we are given the chance to see the type of Presidency he will lead, but after Bush this bloke seems brilliant. Howard was a terrible Prime Minister, who put the needs of America (rather, the rich of America) before Australians- he was a racist and a liar, who pumped us with his propaganda.

  • Howard is a remnant from Australia's racist past who's ideology no longer has relevance in todays world, that was shown in the last election where he was voted out of his own constituency by a huge margin. The world is changing and the face of politics is changing, Barack Obama represents that change.

  • Howard lost because people here are stupid and incomplacent . Now look at the state of Australia, the standing of living has dropped, prices have risen and the unions are attacking everything, and Rudd doesn't care at all. Australia made a stupid choice, and by the next election, it will fix that mistake.

  • intrest rates 08

  • Incase you haven't noticed, there is a finacial crisis going on- even if Dumbledore himself waved his magic wand, it still couldn't fix the problems you mentioned- now, I'm not a huge fan of Rudd ( too conservative) but he is handling it rather well- at the very least as well as Coward could have done.

  • An ally of Bush? He's an ally of Bush, Obama and all of America!

  • agreed!

  • There's a reason why John Howard lost the last election BY A LANDSLIDE and he didn't even win his HOME TOWN in the elections.

    He's a joke.

  • Now Obama's just attacked me, as an Australian because of a stupid comment by an incompetant ex-prime minister. I sincerely hope he doesn't still mean that, because he would be a better candidate.

  • One thing about John Howard: he was a terrible diplomat. Whatever he thought about Obama, he should have kept it to himself. Didn't he think that he might have to start working with this guy in a years' time, whether he liked him or not?

    Ah, well. He's gone now.

  • Bye Bye Howard!

  • ha well since you basically wrote an essay on here im not gonna try to respond to everything haha but about drilling our own oil- If we started now we'd reach it in roughly two years. We would be reaching that oil now if the democrats had let us start drilling earlier. its typical liberalism- create a problem and blame the republican president

  • Nope. Bush's own energy policy advisor said, I quote, "We would not get a drop of oil for 20 years". he also said that even 20 years from now, the effect on gas prices would be "Insignificant". John McCain himself admitted that the benefits of offshore drilling would not be economic, they would be "psycological". Facts have a nasty way of getting in the way of neocon propaganda, don't they?

  • Personally, I don't care much for Oil. How about moving to alternate energy suppliers? I'm a big advocate for Solar Power. I think all Americans, liberal or conservative are stuck in an 'oil' state of mind. Look beyond the carbon fuels that you all rely on. Perhaps another Oil crisis will open your eyes. On the political retrospective, I would of voted for Hillary Clinton, but since Obama won the nomination. I will be supporting McCain.

  • Lol, my favorite Republican lie: "I used to be for Clinton, now I'm for McCain".

Clinton wants to end the war. McCain wants to continue it. Clinton is for Roe v Wade. McCain is against it. Clinton is for tax cuts to middle class, McCain is for tax cuts to the super rich. Clinton is for universal healthcare, McCain is not. They are polar opposite on EVERYTHING.

NOBODY who supported Clinton could vote for McCain. You are a Republican, a liar, trying to sow division among Democrats.

  • I fail to see how me not voting for Obama makes me a liar and a republican. I personally view Obama as a liability to the US, and I dislike him as a person and leader. I'm picking the lesser of two evils, and that's a fact. If the Democrats wanted to keep the white vote of the US, they would of kept Hillary as the president nomination. That's my opinion and point of view. Although I'm not a racist, I'll note that Black leaders have a bad record in running nations into the ground.

  • thats very reasonable. as a republican im not really a big fan of mccain at all but obama has no idea how to run a country and im afraid he will do a terrible job if he gets elected and ruin the chances for a black candidate to get nominated again

  • Oh, ok, you are not a liar, you're an idiot. You are not voting on the issues, you're voting on ethnicity.

You didn't support Hillary because of her position on issues such as Iraq, Healthcare, Roe v Wade, taxes, religion, energy, economy, etc. You supported her because she's white. Now McCain is the lesser of two evils because he's white also. We don't need your vote, you racist scumbag.

Also, "Black leaders have a record of running nations into the ground". Really? Is Bush black?

  • yea well guess what. mccain and bush are also some of the few republicans against offshore drilling. maybe if you listened to a few more estimates you would find some that are more accurate and not ones that are formatted to fit someone's opinion.

  • Unfortunately for you, both Bush and McCain are IN FAVOR of offshore drilling. You are just confused between the meaning of YES and NO. You see, YES means YES, NO means NO. When Bush and McCain say YES to offshore drilling, they mean YES they don't mean NO. If you are still confused, don't hesitate to consult the dictionary about the meaning of YES and NO, or consult a neurologist about any brain impairment you may have. You can get help, medication is out there.

  • ooops! guess i was wrong about mccain and bush not supporting offshore drilling. dont know where i got that in my head but still i have heard numerous people estimate that we would reach oil in roughly two years and if we had started drilling our own oil when we wanted and had not been stopped by the dems than we'd be reaching it now. you see, its ok to argue about stuff on here without just insulting people.

  • You're worse than Obama with his flip flops, I'm a liar, then I'm an idiot. Make your choice. However I supported Hillary on her issues. But yes, race is a factor in my voting, just as it is for African Americans. For you too call me a racist for voting for whom I feel will be a better president, it only makes you seen more ignorant and arrogant. And Bush may not be black, but how would you like a Robert Mugabe driving this nation? I'm also wondering, are you white or black?

  • Well, if you truly were for Hillary but now are for McCain, you're an idiot. If you're lying about your past support of Hillary, then you're a liar. Simple.

If you supported Hillary on the issues, how can you support McCain who believes the exact opposite on all the issues?

Bush is white, Hitler was white, Stalin was white. Yes, Mugabe is black but so is Mandela. The pigment in your skin doesn't mean anything. vote on the issues, not the color of the skin!

  • And since you mentioned flip flops, Obama flip flopped on campaign finance and wiretapping. McCain flip flopped on taxes, immigration, Iraq, guns, abortion, confederate flag, gay marriage, Laws of the Sea, lobbying reform, Bob Jones, Wyly brothers, Falwell, Hagee, earmarks, offshore drilling, torture, guantanamo, social security, litmus tests, Yucca mountain, Hamas, Syria, NRA, Global warming, forclosure crisis, MLK day, Kissinger, Ethanol, being a Baptist, balancing budget.

  • Okay, firstly. You need to come join the real world. Obama does not represent the majority of American citizens, that is fact. Now onto the issues. Lets face it, all candidates are saying what they want us to hear. When you look behind that you'll know that the 50% of our vote is for the candidate, 40% for the party and then the remaining 10% for the issues. Because on the issues they don't say they can do better, the issue will remain untouched by all candidates. Lets remove the illusion ok?

  • wow john howard is a great man. the more i hear about australia the more i love it. maybe if obama gets elected i will move there

  • You obviously aren't aware that John Howard lost a general election by a landslide about 8 months ago. The new Government of Kevin Rudd is fixing the last 11 years of government errors.

  • actually i was aware. my president bush isnt very popular either because of the iraq war. i guess people just don't see the good in freeing a country from an evil and ruthless dictator that killed and tortured hundreds of thousands of people. oh well

  • Your comments confuse me, at one point you seem pro conservative, the next anti Bush.

  • bush isnt popular because of the war. i support bush and the war. most of the american people can't see the good in freeing a country(iraq) from an evil dictator(saddam hussein)

  • Why didn't they do it in the past? All of a sudden a change of mind? The US had the chance to remove many dictators, but instead put them in their positions. Many South American nations who were totalitarian, were funded and supplied by the US. Not to mention Osama Bin Laden, was funded, educated and supplied by the US. Lets face it, Bush's goal was to control one of the largest oil nations in the world, however he has only achieved to drive up oil prices hasn't he...

  • george bush wasn't funding obama, that was bill clinton who is responsible for letting the 9/11 attacks occur. as for oil prices- thats mostly the democrats fault who wont let the US drill its own oil.
