Just link the switch inside to the main redstone circuit. Then when u open it , u can close it inside.

@Vinewebgaming i did this literally just there on 1.8.1 and it works perfectly (its awesome XD), try making sure you follow him EXACTLY and you get repeaters facing the right way and that, trust me you wont regret spending the extra time on it !!

Thanks! i was doing a different method, which works for 2x1 doors but not 2x2 doors,i would get a piston that was extending for no reason, i even put an xor gate into this method!

If you want to open it from the inside, just hook a XOR-gate to the levers in- and outside your house and connect the output to the door. If you dont know how to build one, look on the minecraft wiki.

It is because you make the redstone line too long and it can't connect to the main line.

As you see in this video , When i test it , one side won't work because it is too long for those lines.

If you make it shorter / using repeaters , it works.

It is pretty simple. Just make a staircase , then connect a switch from inside to the main circuit using redstones.

The song itself is "epic" and really gets my blood pumping... but for a tutorial, you need something soothing and calm, so the person learning can think rationally instead of head banging and tapping their foot along with it. Remember, they need to focus on what is happening, not jamming out to music.

For the pressure plates , just add one more redstone next to the redstone (front side) and put 2 blocks above that. Then , replace that switch and put 2 pressure plate

Also , do this same at the exit and make sure you add some delay repeaters at both sides,of course , connect to the circuit.
