Wow beautiful hand movements, your hands look like beautiful ripples in water, I will practice this in hopes of getting my hand to look like yours while dancing! Thanks for your instructions. Do you have and other hand movements for belly danceing?
First time I've seen a video on this which is very useful other than the shimmies. Arms are extremenly important because if all you do is shimmy, then you're only telling half the story with your body.
I've never found a teacher that could demonstrate and explain these hand movements so well, thank you! I've always felt that my hand technique was sadly lacking and letting me down in all my dancing, this will definately help change that. <3
After a lot of searching on this topic, I found your video. THANK YOU! Every move is beautiful and relieves the cramping I get in my wrists, hands and parts on my arm. An excellent mark of a good dancer!
@thedancingbelly Oh awesome! I have some that I wear in some of my videos, but I don't remember where I ordered them on-line and they have been used! Just wanted to see if you bought them somewhere so I can keeo it in mind when I need more. lol
@00DeadlyMj00 Um.. sorry I didn't see this response till now!!!!!! I use highly textured yarns and trims along with hair extensions. :-) HOpe this helps.
are you familiar with rachel brice's "5 pathways" for arms, there might be another term for it, but if you could help me with arms other than snake arms, i wanna look boneless! please help
This is exactly what I've been looking for. Thanks so much! and you're great at this.. and at teaching it. I might actually be able to learn how to do this now!
cheers. that's a really usful explanation of how to do hand undulations. i've been having trouble with them. and the excercise is also helping strengthen my wrists for horse back riding too, bonus. thanx
Oh, wow! These wrist exercises seem to have done the trick of relieving an odd wrist pain in my right wrist. It's been pretty sore for a while, so I really appreciate that these movements actually helped. Thanks!
You are very welcome... most of these movements have been known to help with carpol tunnel but can agrivate tendionitis... so need to be careful. Hugz, Nika
