  • I'm in Scotland UK, I was in the TV service/repair trade from 1967 until 1990. I saw plenty of Philips TVs from the 1950s but never saw this one. I suppose it wasn't mean't for the UK market. Does this company's name get misspelt in Holland? Over here I'm always seeing "Phillips" instead of "Philips"!

  • @TheCaleyman thank you for your comment.

This model was only for the dutch market.it's built for 2 years.

The real name is philips.phiLLips is wrong, heheheheheh

  • @TheCaleyman This modell was also widely sold in Switzerland and Italy. Switzerland received all the early dutch build sets from Eindhoven including TX500

  • Nice old tv, very few stay in the same family for 54 years. What make is it kind of looks like a packard bell.

  • I replaced a few condensators! The television belongs to my family for 54 years!

  • How nice to see the famous and popular trio The Shepherds once again. They started in 1963, so were only 2 years active on this particular occasion. John,Nico and Helen were brothers and sister. They were known for their immaculate close harmonysound, Helen had one of the best female voices in light music during the sixties and seventies. The Shepherds-sound was unique and they brought many old Dutch folksongs back in a new version. They also sang inter

national folksongs, ballads & jazzy songs

  • Incredible TV set!!! Great image and wonderful sound!! CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!
