Seriously guys, what's with all the hate for Craig. I like Brosnan's first 3 outings but I personally think there's only two worthwhile scenes in Die Another Day:

this car chase, the sword fight and Rosamund Pike. Everything else like the story, villians, dialogue and Halle Berry are all awful. Casino Royale was exactly what the series needed to bring it back to its reality based roots with a solid plot, great performances and amazing action scenes.

The Aston Martin used in the chase scene had a chevy v8 fitted inplace of the V12 to allow more room in the engine bay at the front of the car, to fit in all the gadgets. Then they had to dub over the scenes again to put back that V12 roar. Check out the making of Die Another Day.

How people can hate this Bond movie is beyond me! It's still one of my favorites. Pierce was James Bond! Daniel Craig is good in the role too, but Pierce deserved at least one more film as they intended to give him originally.
