  • Erik Leslie Satie's music defines the modern pianist's msuic.

  • my God, how lovely!!!

  • Please tell me who performed this. One of the best pianist performaces of the gnossiennes pieces

  • It's my favorite :)

  • Okay-No. 3 or 2? I love this. How dare people say he is "New Age"!

  • @pataphysician66 How dare people? Well, you would be completely ignorant, stupid, dumb, whatever, if you called this New Age. People who would call this New Age also seems to lack the intelligence it takes to look up things on the easiest though least reliable source, wikipedia. So there you have your answer.

  • @TheophilusAmadeus I hope you don't think I was calling Satie "New Age". I am not. He is not New age, and I never ever considered him "New Age". See my response to evergreepotato's reply. I have know about Satie since I was fifteen, that was forty years ago.

  • @pataphysician66 I've never heard Satie's music called New Age, but that would certainly be an anachronism. He may have had some influence on George Winston's music, but that hardly makes him a "New Age" composer.

  • @evergreenpotato my point. When I was browsing cds looking for Satie's music, that's where I found him. Also Brian Eno. This was at Virgin Records (I don't think they exist anymore).

  • it is not Gnossienne #1 by no means, but it is soooo goood...
