  • The person who uploaded this thinks it unimportant ...knowing that.history confirms the bloody & stifling nature of communism.

That indifference is what dictators count upon.

They kill millions, whilst the indifferent stand on the sidelines doing & thinking nothing.

catthevet2009p co-conspires with the enemy because she posted this with no comment. Might she be Chinese? Might she be detained for posting? Then all she need say, in the info section, is that she is at risk. No more.

  • @RnBramwell You're confusing Communism with dictatorship

  • @XShynobiX Under "Naive Marxism": Communism develops peacefully—everyone produces equally & shares equally via the collectively owned means of production, guided by various leaders. It is naive b/c all individuals differ on a host of lifestyle factors of interests, wants & needs. Thus under communism individuals will invariably emerge unsuited to the intended mold. They do not contribute as expected, must be reined in, must be controlled or killed -attracting violent policing & dictatorship!

  • @RnBramwell Well I believe in Communism, The good way though

  • @XShynobiX I appreciate your hope for a good thing, unfortunately there is no communism in a "good way". It always starts with good intentions & lots of cooperation, then rapidly decays. Take a look at the history of the very peaceful Israeli Kibbutz ─all the rage in the hippie era─ now only one is left, & it's not doing well. The only truly moral system is rational capitalism (widely reviled b/c it's selfish). Ayn Rand in "Atlas Shrugged" shows why rational selfishness works & *is* good.

  • @RnBramwell If I was a Communist Leader, I would show you what I would do, Improve Society, If you want me to explain me, I'll be glad to

  • @XShynobiX Sure, but can you do it _without_

1—banning a citizen from doing something he likes (that does not harm* anyone else)

2—taking property (e.g. money) that a citizen might not want to give up

3—jailing or killing someone who thinks your idea of improving society is wrong (& does not harm* others)

    * "harm" means: does not rob others, does not them force them or trick them to do things they otherwise would not, nor kill them.

All communism can do is fail, even the gentle kibbutzes did.

  • @RnBramwell Well I think I'm a socialist then,

  • @XShynobiX

Would you want to be a socialist supporting use of 1,2,& 3 against you, your family & friends?

Communism & Socialism are nearly identical - both seek to control the means of production (MoP), & distribute wealth evenly, regardless of who produced it. (Fascists don't own the MoP, but still dictate its use.)

Under communism the leaders dictate how the country will commit economic suicide, under socialism the means of suicide is chosen democratically. It evident, around the World.

  • @RnBramwell Well I'm not changing my view on Communism then

  • @XShynobiX Incredibly, despite the death, destruction, disease, lost progress & open invitation to murderers, thugs & thieves, people still somehow hope that taking (stealing) from rich, productive Peter to pay poor, less productive Paul is okay if a government does it. Never mind worldwide evidence against it that any grade 10 student can understand (Hitler, Pol Pot, Stalin, Mao).

Disgustingly: the 'failures of capitalism' are caused by thugs, thieves & politicians who promote gov't rule.

  • @RnBramwell Hitler is not a Communist, Never was.

  • @XShynobiX It's tempting to scorn you for that last remark —so many people form 'definite' opinions without a clue as to the full implications of their opinion, nor of the scattered & incomplete factual basis they counting on. Often, both are easy to properly understand &/or learn . . . yet some live their entire lives not *learning* much at all.

It takes 60 secs to see that Nazism (Nationalsozialismus) is National Socialism. As I said above, Socialism & Communism are basically identical.

  • @XShynobiX The main issues at stake, until Hitler (personally not elected, but leader of the Nazis) became Chancellor boiled down to a Leftist "Turf War" between the Nazis and the (Bolshevik influenced) German Communist Party. Both were vehemently collectivist, with the Nazis adding Fascism (another form of collectivism) and racism (a tribal collectivism) into their platform, that appealed to the what the Communists disparagingly called the "lumpenproletariat.".

  • @RnBramwell Well he mighten make action like a Communist, but The Nazi was never Communist

  • @XShynobiX Whether Nazi/Socialist, or Communist, the differences are trivial:

    concentration camps vs gulags,

extermination camps vs deliberate mass starvation (30 million in the Ukraine alone),

S.S. Police killing & torturing vs KGB killing & torturing,

sacrifice for the Aryan Race vs sacrifice for the Russian people.

XShynobiX, why side with an ideology (pursued by Democrats) that undercuts the rights & freedoms that advanced the lives of U.S. *citizens* more than *any* other system?

  • @RnBramwell Thank you for introducing to me Captilist, I shall study now, Thanks!

  • @XShynobiX Capitalism depends on trading values: when I have developed skills & knowledge to produce some or service, I can produce them more or more cheaply than others. Similarly, others who want them, perhaps produce something different that *I* want. When we trade, we BOTH benefit by passing on something that is not so immediately important to us, and getting something more important in its place. No robbery, no government law (socialism, communism, fascism) FORCING such decisions.

  • @XShynobiX Only capitalism respects YOUR decisions. It requires that *no one* (not a government nor a neighbor) take your Life, Liberty, or Property & that you be free to pursue your form of Happiness.

Many people look at the US & think "that's Capitalism|, with all its rich people using laws to get richer." The US is a MIX of capitalism & gov't controls (e.e. statism, including socialist bureaucracies). Judges & Politicians WRONGLY do favors & accept bribes to give some a gov't advantage.

  • @RnBramwell So what do you think is best?

  • @XShynobiX

    Hi XS. Are you asking

    —what country is best, or

—what is the best source of information about Capitalism, or

—whether some MIX of Capitalism and another system is best?

"e.e." was a typo, it should have been "i.e." which stands for _id est_ meaning "that is".

  • @RnBramwell 3 above is on.
