  • surely it'd be better to just learn the phryggian mode so you could add accidentals

  • is there a nutchords for mac?

  • Comment removed

  • everything means nothing to me

  • I wish there was a function in logic for this! Would be awesome. The fold to scale thing I mean. Would make my life a whole lot easier when initially creating a track and finding a nice scale/mode to create it in.

  • Nice video,creative thinking :)

    pro +1

  • u must try the instrument called kalimba :)

    u gonna love it

    nice video

  • This an awesome tutorial. Just what I've been looking for, thank you so much!

  • I like this, however I would have liked a different lead sound, as the harmonics of the patch itself interfere with the exercise. Love what you are doing here besides that!

  • Good ol trial and error music

  • This is amazingly helpful. Thank you.

  • or u could just play from E to E skipping black keys

  • @M4XM4RT1N lol yeah but, i think maybe he did this as an example. I'm sure it gets more useful using other scales

  • 3:50 You could have deleted the stop buttons.

  • Hey, nice tutorial. Do you know of software like nutchords for mac?

  • thank god he created ears and brains to hear this and it dose not have anything to do whit sex out of marriage.

  • wow thank god for music he dint make music ilegal and it dosent have anithing to do whit sex out of marige.

  • @valbarazo Thank God for music - unless you are a strict fundamentalist Muslim (or in a house with such people, eg, if your parents are strict fundamentalist Muslims) who interprets their scripture to mean 'singing and playing drums (tablah), flutes and musical instruments is forbidden'.

  • Lol you can't do that, I invented it! jk all good

  • Why I can't find your Website?? :/

  • that really is an ingenious use of the "Fold" key function.. brilliant!!!

  • Incredibly simple and effective, many thanks dude

  • great work.. Thanks

  • the site is down!!! when will it be fixed.

  • very cool thanks

  • great little tip, especially for people who are not confident with chords and scales!

  • this is complete crap.

  • This ought to be a video dedicated to demonstrating the "folding" option and nothing else, because while I wasn't familiar with that concept and do find it pretty cool and wish I had that option in my DAWs,, the resultant "harmonization" is atrocious.. you don't repeat the scale, plane the bass, and call it harmonizing.

  • this is interesting, compiling a set of midi clips for each scale in the library that could be dragged out easily would be real handy

chordengine site looks like a great resource definitely bookmarking

  • This should be illegal...LOL

Is it only for ableton? Very sexy!!

  • @KoolaidDRINKER94

yeah just for Ableton atm due the folding feature that makes it easy to filter the scales and modes.

    cheers
