  • LMAO this is so good, peRFect response

  • Legend has it that they're still quiet till this day.

  • @numandina

    LOL

  • federer can kiss novak's ass!

  • @prokapn 4 slams to 16? Lmao

  • @ludtke337 now its 5 and counting... fedex can kiss novak's ass now! djoker is a monster !!

  • So rude. Typical for western Europeans.

  • LOL look at the Nole camp!

They shat themselves when Fedor slammed them with that epic phrase!

  • oh you will be quiet for a long long time suisse junk

  • The "king" Federer knows that the Djokovic family is right in saying that it was in, says arrogantly "be quiet" and goes to the line to erase the ball mark...what an amazing display of sportsmanship and fair play...

  • @allusersunavailable erasing the mark means that he accepted that the ball was in. He didn't argue or anything.

  • @allusersunavailable biggest poser in the tennis ever.

  • What exactly did Djokovic's parents say? Were they the ones who called the ball out when in fact it wasnt? Please respond

  • arrogant bastard .. you play tennis ... youre not at the church ... at soccer matches are 60.000 fans and screaming whole 2 hours ... !!!

  • ok fuck.this is a personal matter and i believe this bastards should be ban for just making noise.i believe people who played tennis knows that it reqiures alot of focus. and no matter who u are, even nadal or fed, u will try to get into your own mood to play.and making noise can decrease the concentration level. AND TO HELL WITH THE PARENTS OF A WORLD NUMBER 3 PLAYER.THEY SHOULD KNOW BETTTER THAN ANYONE ELSE THIS ISN'T A FAIR PLAY

  • Novak has learned throughout time to stop being a cocky brat. I have more respect for him than I had in AO 08. So has his family, I think.

  • Federer : - Be quiet.

    Man : Yes Sir.

  • Roger is such a gentleman. If I was him I would've yelled : "STFU!!!"

  • hehehehehehhehehehe

    "be quiet"

    sounds so quaint

  • well those are the rules. you've gotta listen to the king. who's the king...obviously federer!!! so yeah keep QUIET!

  • i didnt hear any overrule after the out call... roger says be quiet, kicks some clay over the ball mark? and umpire calls to replay point. what am i missing

  • what do Djocovic's family say??

  • djokovic's challange proved that the ball was in, and when the linesman said it was out, tho djokovic camp probably started complainig that it was in.

  • do u need to be a smartass

  • I think that Roger is right

  • Thats them told!

  • When Roger says be quiet, be quiet. The end.

  • the king says be quiet. period:)

  • Federer has spoken! So STFU!

  • Does anyone know if Federer ever spoke about this incident, in interviews or on his site or something? I'd like to hear what he has to say about it.

  • You could hear the woman who I assume is his mother say "that was in!" which is absurd to hear from court level when she isn't mic'd and there is no mic close to her, right after the call. Federer just tells her/them to be quiet because they have no business screaming it that loud.

Federer even kicked the line where the ball hit to signal that the point should be replayed because the call was bad, which is incredibly respectful. Djoker's camp was out of line screaming it though.

  • Jebo vas vas Rodzer ,Novak je keva za sve vas pickice!!!!!!!!!!

  • Legendary stuff

  • be quiet you serbian bitch!

  • u must confused ur mom with serbs

  • BE QUIET SERBIAN IDIOT

  • you be quiet you pile of dirt, go kill yourself and make this world a better place.....

  • what is your problem?!?!?

  • camp djokovic is my problem,

    BE QUIET

  • ok, i think too that he told the best for him, but you didn`t need to wrote: serbian bitch

ps i know that u wrote this just `cos djokovic is from serbia!

  • love Roger forever-past, present,future.

    Win or lose too.

  • i mean roger and rafa are perfect fair sportsmen, but rafa is the best, he always was the best, also as a teenager, he always was fair to the opponents, never destroyed a racket, and didnt lost his will to win a match also if he had no chance, he fought until the end- hes such a great player at every point of view!

  • haha, I like how he adds the "ok" part, just to soften it up a bit.

  • I am fan of Nadal but federer was right. djokovic's family was 2 noisy

  • when this happened he was still the king

  • The Djokovic family has got to be the most annoying entourage in tennis. (The J-Block runs a close second though.) Good on Federer for speaking up.

  • @osalsyst

    That's Serb's for you!!!

  • @osalsyst who's J-block?

  • @osalsyst also andy murray

  • I agree - they can all just be jealous!

  • I agree with SWEklasse75

  • Well, I've never seen Roger´s parents saying things like that. You don't need to say a player is over... To be humble is never old fashioned.

Personnaly, I think Nole is a great player, and the natural heir of Roger's throne, but he needs improve a lot before threating 12 GrandSlams owner.

  • The Djokovic camp has said things like "The King is Dead. Nole is the new King".

As for what was happening here, I'm sure it wasn't the first time the Djokovic family have been rowdy and nosy DURING a match. They should show the players some respect and shut up about line calls and other on-court business and just WATCH the match like the audience should.

I can't believe how anyone could defend them but whatever.

  • @jeanvasconcelos What do you have to say about Nole now? :)

  • @ludakizbj I didn't change what I said 3 years ago, Nole is a great player. Roger is still the king :p eheh.

  • @ludakizbj Federer is and forever will be number one.

  • @BobUs23 you nailed it :D NICE prediction

  • Djokovic hasn't proclaimed himself the number one, but his family has... many times, specially after his grandslam.

  • That's what made Federer's fan furious.

  • Federer is six years older than Djokovic. Novak is still learning. You know when Federer was his age he also had some temper problems. Novaks career has just begun and Roger has been at the top for many years now, it´s to early and unfair to compare these two.O ne things for sure: tennis has become much more interesting at the moment than it has been for quite some time, thanks to three great players. They all have some unique qualities and it´s going to be some interesting tennis years to come.

  • First of all Nadal has never been a serious threat to Roger in taking the first place, Second: Of course he praises Nadal, he loses to him almost every time they play on clay, what else should he say. Third: Djokovic has never ever proclaimed him self as the next No.1, the media has. He always sais that he doesn´t think about the No.1 spot AND he´s called Nadal the best defensive played in history and Federer being probably the best player to ever pick up a racket ever. Is that not humble?

  • it's sad that you're the only djokovic supporter out there. i was a big fan up until the start of this year, and his arrogance just took off. now we can all see where it came from. as for nadal never being a serious threat to nadal... i guess you can eat your words now, bob.

  • I don't think Fed is disrespectful in his comments about Murray and Djokovic. If he says what he thinks,it is not because he is "threatened" by up and coming young players. If that were true, why isn't he like that to Nadal? His greatest rival? He praises Nadal. The reason is Murray and Djokovic are sooo cocky. On and off. Especially Djokovic. Proclaiming himself #1, puleaase, prove it first and be humble. I can't stand it when Djokovic glares and stares down the audience. Fed probably hates that.

  • That is why I love both roger and rafa. They are both great champions off and on court and they have tremendous amount of respect for each other, and so do their families. You don't see nadal's family or fed's family acting like maniacs, intefering with line calls, or anything. When nadal won wimbledon, you didn't hear comments from his mom about how the king is dead now, did you? I have to disagree with you about murray though. I think he's come a long way with his attitude.

  • FYI, when a player erases the mark, he is signaling to the umpire and the other player that the ball was good and saving the ump the trouble of coming over to look. It is a gesture of sportsmanship!!

  • Djokovic's parents looked pissed. lol

  • It seems that as soon a newcomer like Novak gets in the mix with the best, Fed fans get all of the sudden very threatened and defensive. This is great for tennis, having three very good players battling at the top, it makes the sport more interesting for us fans.

  • Well, if Federer wouldnt have erased the mark the umpire would in any case see that the ball was in, so Federer didn´t do it to show his "great sportmanship". I´ve seen Federer whine against hawkeye calls a couple of times. Showing his true colours when he´s under pressure. If he expieriences any problems with anybody in the crowd expirenced as he is he should take it up with the umpire, not adressing anybody directly in the crowd.

  • Ok. Fed erased it (meaning "umpire, you don't need to check as it obviously was in ), a sign of acknowledgement. It is good sportsmanship right? Instead of questioning and making Djokovic have the umpire get up when Fed knows it's in. It was replayed, you can here the umpire and Federer went back to same side to receive.

  • So if Federer didn't want the umpire to see it was in by erasing the mark, then why was Federer ok with replaying the point? He then should have argued to winning the point right? a bunch of haters.

  • GROW UP, ALL OF U

  • Federer was not just responding to the Djoker camp at that instant, the entire match they were shouting things and saying things against Roger. At such a clean and classy place like Monaco, you notice trash all the more.

  • Hey Marshall, who the fuck are you!?! You are clearly a myopic Novak lover and wouldn't know your face from your arse - much like you don't know anything about tennis. I don't need to be #3 in the world tennis player to know that Novak sometimes quits when he is losing in a big match, and what class is about. History shows that 3 times since 2006 Nole has quite a big match rather than give the opponent a win. Roger retirements in his career = 0!

  • let those nole fans talk we see what happen !!! KING ROGER STILL ON WORLDS THRONE!

  • And for the federers sportsmanship just take a look at him when he is losing and when things are not going well for him just look at him. And kraavitz who the fuck are you to question world NO 3 how to play tennis i take it you have been NO3 or better to know eh?

  • And how can they possibly help him by cheering for him on the court except give him the psychological support? He is playing tennis he has the goods to beat federer and did it before and will do it again. And SO WHAT IF HIS MOM AND DAD ARE CHEERING for him i take your parents wouldnt do the same? if not i feel sorry for you. Second noone says anything when fans are cheering for fed. You people are jelous and should be ashamed.

  • Federer is class and sportsmanship? Sure while he is winning. He showed his true colours when asked at the AU openw who will will final. "I DONT CARE" really shows whats he is like!

  • no, he said I don't care, because he wasn't favoring one side or the other. How else do you express that you don't have a favorite? If the grammar and vocabulary are not to your liking then calm down.

I thought it was a very diplomatic answer, because he probably was hoping Djoko would lose.

  • You think it was a diplomatic answer I think it was pure disrespect as he has shown many times especially when commenting on the up and coming players like Novak and Andy M who were lookin to be his biggest threat. Also Roger is probably the dullest player in Tennis and thank god theres someone with flare to mix it up a bit!!!

  • the only the dull thing about federer is that he isn't vocal at all. his shots and his movement are anything but dull

  • I FUCKING hate the Novak camp, they're always screaming and have 'N-O-L-E' on their shirts and all this crap, they're worse than the fans. And i'd love to kick that mother up the hole.

  • come on, when a player wipes off a mark he assumes the point was valid so he accepted losing the point and went on the match. Not the opposite.

  • Totally owned. Roger is the fairest king of all. Novak can only win by having his family and coach sitting on the lines to help him out. This is not the first time. Look back historically since Hawkeye has been introduced and the number of times Novak looks to his support crew on close calls and whether he should challenge or not. Rampant at the Aust Open this year.

He is a wimp for retiring this match for a sore (cough cough) tummy.

Go Roger - ALL CLASS and you showed who the man still is.

  • djo...Federer did not "hide" the mark. He wiped it AFTER telling Novak's camp to be quiet while going back to replay the point. This is class AND sportmanship (something Novak doesn't have). Not like Fed stopped playing the point, or didn't hit the ball after it was called out. He knew it was in, that's why he played the next shot. Novak stopped the point if you watch his reaction after Roger's return. Wiping the shot makes sure the mark is not confused later on in the match. Learn your tennis!

  • Are you OK?? LOL

Federer was being a good sportsman by walking forward to check if the 'out' call was wrong.

If he was a bad sportsman, he'd have just accepted the call and not given the mark a second look.

What you said is ABSOLUTELY the opposite of what happened.

  • lmfao

  • roger...YOU'RE SIMPLY THE BEST!! AHAH, THE KINH

  • ROGER IS THE KIIIIIIIIIIING

  • OWNED

  • yeah... shut the fuck up!
