  • @krizzta

No thats the republic of ireland flag behind me.

  • @krizzta whats the republic of newfoundland?

  • @TheIrishCanuck Well majority of Newfoundlanders are Irish descendants, we pretty much have the Irish accent, lol.

Before Newfoundland joined confederation with Canada, we were the Republic of Newfoundland.

Our flag was basically the exact same as Ireland’s except we used pink instead of orange.

  • @KnifeNut88 lol.... the republic of newfoundland flag is the same as the Ireland flag, except it uses pink... I'm not drunk...you're just uneducated.

  • PS - have you thought about trying or buying a drum with a synthetic skin?? Howard drums, like mine, have a great sound, and once you tune them to your satisfaction, they rarely have to be altered. Lots of people say they love the sound of mine, and so do I.

  • Hi Kanuck, I HAD to hear you play to this. Whenever I hear it played at sessions, I KNOW I'm in for a sweaty time!! It's REALLY fast and furious, but I love it too. Glad to see you're still uploading and playing. Les Singleton (bodhran player) from Bakewell, Derbyshire.

Irishkanuck I thank you for posting all of these videos with your bodhran playing! I love trying out new percussion instruments! This one is just one of the few I have not tried yet.

I'll have a shot at it myself! see u

  • Fantastic! :D

  • "Nothing special, just a great tune." Your wrong, anytime someone thinks of others...its special. And by sharing with us, that makes for something special. And you are correct, it is a great tune. But being part Irish (O'Sullivan) I have an ear for the music and you I suspect; for the blarny. Thank you for posting. Looking forward to your next post. No really, I am looking forward to your next post. Also, great drum work. I know drummers with full drum kits that do much less with them.

  • I didn't know you could tune a bodhran. Sounds great as always.

  • With a man made head you have to use a tuning key (if it is a tuneable bodhran). With a animal skin head, you can use cool water and heat to tune it, or a tuning key (again, if it's tunable). I have a goatskin head, tuneable bodhran, but i ususally just tune it with water, as i find that to be more hands on.

    Anyways, sweet playing as always!

  • totaly profesional,what a player,absolute awesome.hope to aim as good.
