I just saw them play a few days ago. I couldn't believe how hyped up they got the crowd!!! It was one of the best concerts I've ever been to, and I can't wait till I see them again.

How popular are the Cat Empire in the US? I saw them last year when they came home (Melbourne) and the reception was HUGE. Luckily I managed to get pre-sale tickets (2nd Row!!), because the show sold out in no time.

Have you listened to Jackson Jackson - Harry's (not so side any more) project? You can't escape much further from the mainstream than that.

To be honest cat empire is considered indy(or underground)music by most pple who know of it and its mainly only known to pple who look for it. around my parts. which is really sad because there are horrible bands that are like household names(simple plan) I think its because in australian pple judge pple on what they can do where as here its all about credentials(pple backing you up). I think it has somthing to do with yur guys respect for the underdog. so in short I WISH I WAS AUSTRALIAN

the cat empire are brilliant there music is amazing. But So Many nights and cities have are not quite as good as Two shoes and cat empire. Its as if they have lost something. an i think its Felix's hair, it made the first to albums Fantastic!

I think it's got something to do of the fact that in cat empire and two shoes, they were just mates playing some music. i think in so many nights they've started to get really recognized and the stress of a limelight band is present.

You're kidding. Cities was extremely good, especially the song "Anymore" and "Side to Side". So Many Nights was an excellent album, and they experimented with quite a few new sounds, their next album is rumored to have the old cat sound back.
